Okay, so the face is the biggest factor for me when hiring. No matter how much I'm into a guy's body, if I'm not attracted to the face, I can't get horny for the guy.

So! I contacted a new guy with incredibly sexy torso only shots. Since his ad stated to feel free to ask for more pictures, I did and got some pictures of his face and... I'm not attracted. So... Not liking it when other's go silent on me, is there a way to let him know the face makes not to want to book without saying it like that (and basically sounding like a douche).

He did ask to see my face pic first when I asked if he kissed with tongue.

Don't sweat it. Yours was one of several email threads he was responding to; he's not sitting awake at night wondering when you're going to book.

If it makes you feel better, write a quick "Turns out my plans have changed. Thanks for your time." No need to tell him it was his mug that changed your plans.

Have you already booked the session? If not...I don't see how you are obligated to respond. At this point, asking for face pics is a routine inquiry.

Assuming you already booked without seeing the face pics first, well then that is a little problem. I would just be honest, and let him know that he isn't your type, however, I also feel that since you made the commitment, (which you should not have done without seeing the face) not liking his face is your issue, and you owe him at least part of the agreed upon fee. IMHO

I would think any reason for not following through just after a face pic has been sent would sound like…just an excuse. When I’ve found myself in a similar situation, I usually choose the “just go silent” option. I don’t think there’s a way to say you don’t find the guy attractive without him being offended. If he thinks I’m a pic collector, time-waster or douchebag, so be it. However, if he does get nasty about it, I’ll tell him the truth as objectively as I can.

And that is why I make sure to have pics that show everything one could possibly want to see, from the tip of my toes to the top of my head. I have a client that is wanting to book a 3-way with me and another escort while I'm in Vegas the guy he has picked has no face pics, which drives me crazy, cause I can tell SOOOO much more from someone's eyes than I can from their cock.

owe the guy at least part of the agreed upon fee ????.....WTF, I fully realize that you ended with "IMHO" but I strongly disagree.....in almost any circumstances / for almost any reason, unless I'm cancelling a short (1 or 2 hour) appointment on the day of or maybe the day before, the escort is cleared to make other plans with somebody else & isn't "owed" any part of his fee from me......but then that's just my view / my feeling / my IMHO !!!

Thanks for all the responses. No, I hadn't booked or committed to anything yet, he hadn't even quoted me his rate yet.

I'd only let him know of my general availability (noon and early afternoons).

To be honest, I felt it was gonna be like pulling teeth setting up anything anyway. I'd asked three questions initially (fee, kissing, facepics) and he responded only to one question (kissing, I re-asked the other questions and he only responded with facepics, no rate quoted...)

And he seems to keep doing that: only responding to one question per message. An endless back and forth can get tiresome.

That's what I was thinking too.

Personally, I think it is just common courtesy to always close the loop. You can do so in a kind yet direct way. Here is how I would express it: I found your profile and your body pics very appealing. Thank you for sending me your face pic(s). I'm not finding myself attracted to your face, and for that, I'm sorry. I hope you can understand and thank you for your time.

How he reacts to my message is under his control and it will be character-revealing. I can only control my actions and live up to what I have defined as my own integrity standards. Wolfer, whatever you decide, just follow your integrity compass.

I am sorry but your face has utterly withered my manhood, and has left me with bouts of projectile vomiting ala exorcist. Not even Viagra and a paper bag can help me overcome the horror and freak show that is your face.

kidding kidding :p

I don't like the going silent. Its rude.. at least to me. I would go with something like. "Thank you. Hiring is a big decision for me. There are things I must consider, I will be in touch when I am ready".

Yeah, going silent isn't an option for me either, but I was stumped on how to word my response, so that's why I wanted to check on here. Thanks for the suggestions!

Sorry. Not gonna work. I'm not into Butterfaces.

An escort asking for a client's picture is not a good sign, but it's always a good idea for the would-be-client to warn the escort if he's overweight.

now... on your subject, tell him you might make plans next week or in January or be honest and tell him you're not interested in hiring him, no big deal.

Not a good sign that he is open to any and all, but at least he is being honest. French kissing is obviously a potential issue and he needs to see what he is signing up for. I know there are wildly divergent opinions here on what information (stats/picture/etc) clients should provide. I'm not trying to reopen that can of worms. Just acknowledging that this escort knows his limits and seems to be addressing it upfront.

Discretion is a must in this kind of business. Good for him if he gets client's pictures but I don't think he can't afford to be picky on his clients because of many of them (in this grindr era where young in shape men get free sex without trouble) will be old(er) and out of shape like many of us are.

to me only one thing matters when it comes to kissing, no bad breath!

Just say that you're not a match and thank him for his time. Hardly anybody objects when you say it that way. I did, not long ago, have some crazy boy ding me for not "giving the chemistry a chance." I knee-capped him for arguing with a polite refusal.

Nobody wants to get an email, no matter how diplomatically its written, that says the reason I didn't hire you was because I didn't like your face. Do yourself and the escort a favor, keep it to yourself and move on. I assure you he isn't going to lose any sleep over why oh why hasn't Johnny responded to my email after I sent him face pics.

Let me put it another way. Would you rather be one of those anonymous rat bastard time wasters, or that specific son-of-a-bitch that thought he needed to email me and tell me that he didn't hire me because he didn't like my face. Well $*(&%*&^ that (*%@&*$&* ^$& and who the *($&(@*$^& does he think he is and where the &*$^^% does he get off telling me..... (and that's just how it starts!)

I decided to use a variation of TrueReview's phrasing, but instead of mentioning his face, I said he's not my type. I think radio silence would've been better, somehow I feel I couldn't make this situation not rude, no matter what I did.

I don't know what it's like in the US, but my anecdotal experience here in Europe is that radio silence almost seems to be the norm on both sides.
