Working Scruff

I remember a few saying they have a working profile on Scruff or similar apps. I was wondering the success rate on doing such a thing? Pros, cons?

I can only speak of the cons.

 

It is strictly forbidden to advertise on Scruff. If they catch you, they will ban your device forever.

 

Also, I personally am very uncomfortable with the bait and switch. Getting people interested in a social platform only to let them know down the road that you are looking for a commercial interaction.

I had to get off scruff for personal reasons, let alone trying to use it for anything else.

 

I know the very name seems to imply and cater to the bear community in a way, but of all the sites I've found Scruff to be the most racial exclusionary...and the dates I did have from there were all epic fails. Liars, game players, guys partnered up and disappearing acts. To fuck HELL I'd want to even imagine about using it for business.
