just watched "Best of Enemies" via netflix a few days ago......nice little doc about the longtime Buckley/Vidal feud....worth it

I liked his quote from the documentary in 2013.

It's not a particularly clever or even bitchy remark. And we certainly have one big ass fool right now Although he was dead a year when he said it so that might have been why it wasn't so clever

 

I think the documentary is pretty superficial and could have been so much better. I lived through those days and I didn't think this doc captured it at all well.
