Do tragic events like what happened in Paris affect the business? I hope is not too soon for this subject and I'm aware of how unpredictable escorting is.

I would expect that Paris would be impacted and maybe some other cities in Europe which have had scares since Friday but I would be very surprised if it impacted business anywhere else

yes, something that happened in Paris and kept many of us watching TV on a Friday night wondering not if but when are we next. I'm sure also some restaurants got some cancellations because of the bad news from France.

It's funny, and probably human nature. This morning on npr someone explained that when there is a new threat we exaggerate it even though existing threats are often much more deadly. Think the Ebola scare last year!

I guess we internally assess and accept existing risks even much larger ones but new ones are distressing - perhaps because we can't calculate their risk yet?

I can't speak for Paris, but Brussels has been on lock down since Saturday, even public transportation has been completely suspended because the city was declared to be at threat level 4 (the highest it can be). It certainly influenced my decision to not hire any guys that were located in Brussels because travelling to Brussels would have been almost impossible.
