Do tragic events like what happened in Paris affect the business? I hope is not too soon for this subject and I'm aware of how unpredictable escorting is.

As Jeb Bush said: "stuff happens..." obviously he was talking about a shooting by a mad man like the ones we've been having more frequently. In this situations do men hire more or less? Maybe some would like to feel close to someone else, maybe some men feel guilty about hiring when there's so much uncertainty something like it happening here.

I hope I don't sound too cold asking this question at this moment, if the mgt thinks inappropriate please delete the thread.

No, I don't. Do you?

I'm 75, and I've retired 5 years ago but that doesn't mean I'm useless I take care of my great nephews when my niece is at work but don't worry, the kids don't look at my laptop to see the kind of pics I post.

Next time you want to ask me something, please quote me.

I hope the subject wasn't too direct I just wonder if this kind "moments of healing after a tragedy" like the President has described them, have an effect slowing down our will to hire younger men.

Do you have an "off" button?

Apparently the subject was too direct for you, since your original post has been significantly edited and reworded. Why did you change it?

The escort Torkish just went to Paris for the week. He will be in DC this weekend so I'll ask him about Paris!

How was business in NYC on Sep 12 '01? That was a much larger attack and people were shell shocked for days at least. Smaller scale here in DC.

What could make a big difference is uncertainty about the future. Is another attack coming? That may have a dampening effect. For some though there may be a YOLO effect.

Well I guess we all owe you a hearty “Thank You” for toning down your typically sensationalist and moronic drivel and being a tad more sensitive.

You remind me of the woman at the last funeral I attended who wondered (aloud) whether or not the child’s casket was less expensive because it was smaller than normal.

One more time, when you reply to someone quote him... it's good manners...

If you had quoted my previous post (which was so direct about this tough subject it was an offense to God and country...) you wouldn't have to talk about it... it would still be up there and everybody would see what a kind of nasty person I'm according to you.

Whether that child's funeral happened in real life or in your imagination, you certainly have a bad taste for metaphors, just like Ben Carson comparing Syrian refugees to rabid dogs.

One more thing toning down my typical sensationalist moronic drivel has brought me nothing but lowering you to sarcasm and mockery of an allegedly real child's funeral, maybe I need to be as "sensationalist and moronic" as usual, it has given me so many likes from other perverted minds in this forum dedicated to escorts.

It's funny, and probably human nature. This morning on npr someone explained that when there is a new threat we exaggerate it even though existing threats are often much more deadly. Think the Ebola scare last year!

I guess we internally assess and accept existing risks even much larger ones but new ones are distressing - perhaps because we can't calculate their risk yet?

I can't speak for Paris, but Brussels has been on lock down since Saturday, even public transportation has been completely suspended because the city was declared to be at threat level 4 (the highest it can be). It certainly influenced my decision to not hire any guys that were located in Brussels because travelling to Brussels would have been almost impossible.
