Why does some escort disabled their review/feedback/guests book?

I normally find my Escort through PlanetRomeo and it has a guestbook function for people to leave review of the escort. This is a good place for me to see the feedback and determine how reliable is the escort.

However, some escort, though their description looks promising, has disabled their guestbook. This lead me to wonder why some escort rather disable their guestbook than keeping it to build up on their reputation?

The review feature on Romeo allows escorts (or users) to delete unfavorable comments and to disable their Guest Book altogether to avoid possible negative remarks. That is why all reviews are positive. That is also why they are so unreliable....You have to take them with a bit of skepticism.

Same thing for M4RN - I looked over the shoulder of a companion once as he read a negative review of a previous client and he disabled them... the REVIEWS section of his profile changed to show "Reviews are not available for this advertiser".

I'm glad I saw that otherwise I'd have interpreted that as no reviews had been submitted.

The only answer is because they keep getting a barrage of negative reviews and comments, that if it is true you can erase, if they keep coming faster than you can erase them, clients can always see them.

If you are a con artist, there is no advantage in having a comment section.

It is true you can erase them, but if you find escorts who have a number of great feedback from non anonymous clients, that necessarily has to mean that they were able to please people. I would hire the guy with many great comments in a second against the guy with a disabled comment section.

I agree, Juan. My experience in Prague has led me to assume that an escort who has many reviews, especially if they are written in correct English or in different languages, is more trustworthy. I think it would be very difficult for a kid who in most cases speaks only Czech and/or broken English to fake a substantial amount of positive comments...Just a thought.

The trouble with PlanetRomeo "reviews" or guestbook posts is that they link back to your personal profile on the site, basically identifying you.

You can leave a comment anonymously, but that to me, is like first time reviewers on this site (not necessarily trustworthy).

I work around that by having two profiles. One is my real, that has all my info, stats and pictures. The other one is one that has some of my general info but no pictures and I use that to post in the guestbooks.

Wolfer is right! I only have one Romeo profile which contains very very basic information, but I still have posted several reviews under "Anonymous", because I value my privacy. I use Romeo only to contact escorts, and I state this very clearly in my profile, but I do get some messages by non-working guys interested in meeting, which for several reasons I do not respond to :(:( Call me crazy, but I do not always want to be linked to my reviews in public...
