I worked as an usher at the Hollywood Bowl during high school. One night in 1967 on my way home I stopped at a magazine stand just off Hollywood Blvd. I saw a copy of Physique Pictorial with a Tom of Finland drawing on the cover. It changed my life. I'm still hoping that one day I'll encounter a man with Tom of Finland nipples.

 

Thanks for the post and the link too... it certainly brings back fond memories...

 

The large postage stamp (the one that can be divided into pieces) is a great collectable - looks good in a nice frame with matting to accentuate.

What do yinz think of this Tom of Finland's inspire fashion?

For me it doesn't work - the guys look more like fitness models rather than bodybuilders. The shoot (and the swimwear itself) is hot but it's not the Tom of Finland experience.

Rufskin is an exteremly SEXY brand and its TOF line is HOT, but its only made for the bodies pictured in its ads... Normal people CANT wear it (nor should they really) . Their size XL is a 34" waist.

 

Basically they are Fantasy garments.
