One hour vs. multiple hours clients

My shortest session is an hour. It's the minimum that I will accept to block my time, get ready, make sure I am rested, and don't have work before or after. Works well for me...

...The only important thing to remember to remain happy and healthy in this profession is to chose what kind of service you want to provide, knowing full well that you can control what kind of clients you attract.

You sound like a five star resort to me. You don't need to offer youth hostel rates.

Thanks, Juan. I really do appreciate your response and encouraging words. Really - Thank you!

Just in fairness to your suggestion of not making generalizations, there are many clients for whom one hour of sex is not enough. I have known clients who hire for as long as 6 or 7 hours of non stop sex. So long sessions are not necessarily only for socializing.

It's not something to do with just anybody, but I can definitely imagine it with the right man.

I like both. It's hot to get it on fast like those car ads where they talk about how fast it can go from "zero to 60mph" when you hit the accelerator, or I can take it slow during a longer time and get to know the guy, which is fun too. It really just depends on what they want. I cut my rate almost in half for the 2nd hour, and discount for overnights and travel.

My question for other escorts:

What about the client that only wants, say, 10, 15, or 30 minutes? Do you ever offer shorter sessions for a fraction of your hourly rate?

Non-escort opinion (so you can decide whether to read it or not) If someone is hiring you for a 15-20 minute session, you're not making much after you deduct the value of the time and money spent to get there. That might be ok if these clients were "trying you out" for longer periods, as some of them might claim. But I wonder if some of these very short session clients can't or won't afford longer sessions no matter how much they like you. The other problem is that some clients might get angry when you start packing up and they haven't "finished" yet. I wonder how many guys over 30 can finish in 10 minutes especially if they're coming over after a drink or dinner.

For the escorts here: What do you think about offering a a one-time 45 minute "express" session for new clients?

I find that 99% of who I'm with likes what I call a SOCIALEXUAL experience.

What do you mean, Killian? Do they want a little bit of conversation too?

Personally I don't have any judgment for anyone who does offer specials or any other kind of discount, however I don't see any reason or benefit in offering this kind of session to my clients, especially as an introductory session. I would want my first time clients to meet me at my best, to experience the high quality, plus spa Juan experience, not the TacoBell express value lunch.

Because of who I am and how I look at my work I am not interested in attracting the thrifty clients who are price oriented and are looking to get the most fuck for their buck. I find that an intimate, fulfilling, personal experience is not a quantifiable thing and the price oriented clients will not value what they receive, as they are not looking for that.

There are other clients, however, who are looking precisely for the personal touch, the glint in the eye, the spark on the touch, the tenderness of the caress, the dedicated, long time that one takes to make love when one is enjoying it.

I am really interested in meeting those clients because they will best value what I have to offer... and those clients are never looking for a first time special rate. Those clients know that this kind of connection takes dedication, skill, time, and cannot be pushed.

There are great escorts out there who are devoted to offer the most fuck for your buck, and they would be better suited to meet that kind of client.

The beauty in intimacy is in finding a perfect match.

Continuing the 5-Star resort metaphor, many resorts offer discounts or other perks to frequent guests. And they have day passes for guests who want to try out the facilities.

The Four Seasons offers perks (free upgrades, fruit basket, etc) but not discounts for frequent guests. In fact, they amount to the same thing: A lower price for a particular room. But 10% off a standard room sounds very different from "We do our best to accommodate our frequent guests in the best available rooms."

Client here. I have only hired once for a one-hour session, because I was strapped for cash and time. I was visiting the city where an escort I have long-wanted to meet plies his trade, but because I was there for professional reasons, I didn't have much free time. I barely was able to squeeze him in my schedule, but we were able to make it work.

I had a great time with him, although I wished the entire time that it would have been two hours at least.

Hiring is a once-in-a-blue-moon treat for me, and I always want to make the most out of a meeting, so I propose at least two hours with any guy. I like a few minutes of getting to know someone (even a repeat...I like to ask what's been up with their lives), quite a lot of making out (I like to kiss!), and the symphony orchestra at some point. I'm up for more kissing and cuddling in the event that we both finish early in the meeting (like, say, only an hour in).

I don't continue trying to book a guy who ignores a request for a multi-hour quote. I assume they would not provide the experience I am looking for.

Regardless of the style of give-backs, most escorts, but not all, don't understand the larger issue of "giving your best customers some perks" - they think it's borne of altruism and they're reluctant to give up the quick cash. Trust me when I tell you that it's good business and all of these reward programs are designed to increase revenue rather than create cost centers. With regular clients, picking up a tab, giving a "birthday" session or some other kind of perk increases business and cements the relationship. Yet I'm a frequent hirer and always tip $100 on top of any negotiated rate, never hire for less than 3 hours and I can count on one hand the number of guys that have bought me a meal in the last 4 years. There have been exceptions - Dane Scott, Kyle Vong and Kevin Fung among them, but it's not common. Too few understand The counter-intuitive business practices. I'm not talking about giving away the store - just a small gesture means something to me, and I can't think of a single instance where it wasn't paid back in spades. You escorts frequently have access to some truly gifted businessmen who would be happy to provide some advice. In addition, there are those among you who have clearly figured this out. Study them. Observe the process. Take what makes sense to you, but find a way to develop customer loyalty in a meaningful and concrete way. As were in the middle of a market correction right now, you may see a decrease in business and my guess is that loyalty becomes much more important in challenging markets.

I do not normally agree with most things 'Amoco' posts on this message board, but the above I DO agree with - 100%

A small gesture goes a long way. One of my 'best' hires was somebody who would walk me back to the subway, sometimes share his dinner after a session or go 15-30 minutes overtime without mentioning it or expecting a higher fee. I gave him tons of repeat business and good tips. Those are small gestures that don't cost much in terms of money or time commitment. Think about it.

I've had a few acts of kindness, a meal, a drink, a gift card, etc from the pros but the grandest gestures have always come from the guys who were not pros, the newbies, college boys, etc. I've never doubted the sincerity of their appreciation. As an example, a non-advertising college student once comped an entire weekend that we spent together.

Go figure. Do y'all see why I pursue many of the guys who work under the radar?
