Connie and Carla

I watched this 2004 comedy last night, and it was a HOOT! Starts Nia Vardalos and David Duchovny. Connie and Carla are legitimate (but not very good) singers, who are on the run from the mob because they witnessed a murder. (Sounds like "Some Like It Hot," doesn't it? However, not in that league.) They masquerade as drag queens in WEHO, where everyone thinks they're really guys. Light-hearted, lots of fun. I liked it.

I love that movie. "Some Like It Hot" meets "Victor/Victoria". Not quite in the same league as either film, of course, but a wonderfully fun movie.
