If you want microscopic rooms stay at either Pod 39 or Pod 51 in Manhattan both are terrific hotels though.

What's the setup with bathrooms at the Pod hotels? Shared baths for many/most rooms?

I've stayed at a cheap but clean place in Chinatown (U.S. Pacific Hotel: http://m.yelp.com/biz/us-pacific-hotel-new-york) that had shared baths in the style of four individual little bathrooms each opening onto the hall and serving the ~10 sleeping rooms on a floor. I liked that a lot better than one big dormitory-style shared bath.

The pod 51 has a mix of shared bathrooms and private bathrooms the pod 39 all the rooms have their own bathroom. I usually travel solo to New York City and I have stayed on many occasions at pod 39 I really like this hotel But it's definitely not for everyone the rooms are very tiny and unconventional but at the same time extremely well organized and functional. I have stayed in the Hudson again the rooms are tiny but the location is fantastic but it's much more pricier than the Pod hotels and room is not as well organized.

Oh they are beyond tiny, but it's in a really convenient place. Easy subway access, shopping, Wholefoods, Central park, and a hope skip and a jump from Time Square. :)

With that said, the last time I was there, myself and Apollo Phoenix (neither of us being what you would call small LOL!) spent a good number of hours together with nary a problem. :p

If I were in a room with either you or Apollo Phoenix I wouldn't find it a problem, either! A broom closet would be fine.....

The cheapest hotel rates in NYC tend to be around mid-end of January and February. Yep it's freezing outside but rates are 1/2 than their regular rates. I always travel off season - yes I'm from Miami and for something different I go to the freezing cold lol. In Miami its peak season from October on so here so our hotels are literally double the price. Just a FYI in Miami hotel rates are lowest mid- July and August - yep during the very hot summer season.

Yessir, this is a good time for South Florida hotels. However, the prices even down there have gone way up. But maybe they needed to. I've stayed at the Delano, the Berkeley Shores, Casablanca, The former Best Western next to Twist, the list goes on. When I used to hotel Miami around 2005-2007...the hotels were AWFUL. Just dumps.

I occasionally get back down to Miami Beach, and the hotels nowadays seem much nicer. The lack of hurricanes and gangs have caused people to become more confident in investing in nice, upscale looking hotels. No more broken windows on South Beach!

I agree, babe, the raging cost in NYC for hotels have sky-rocketed tremendously during this time of season to where it's virtually impossible for most escorts to get a room solo.

In most cases, the successful regimen for most escorts to make money is to either split the cost of a room which can be at times a little bit of a hassle depending on which escort has more jobs and have to step out of the room more then the other.

Another good idea is to do Air-bnb where both parties can share the cost by having a bigger place with 2 separate rooms to host each others clients in. Airbnb can be a good tool for two escorts to travel to split the cost by having separate rooms to host clients. Usually if your sharing a hotel room, you have to leave if the other escort has a client which can be sometimes a pain in the ass if you're not up for going out at the time.

With sharing the cost of a two bedroom apartment, the other escort can just stay in one room while the working escort is tending to his client in the other, and not have to worrying about being of a disturbance of any kind.

The issue with that would be that the owner of the residence might not want to have their home used for that. Additionally, say something turned up missing from the home....it's your ass on that one.

Just a thought....

It's too expensive and there are so many choices... Why bother?

I'm sure a pornstar could still make a trip to NYC and make a lot of money but I would never recommend an escort visiting such an expensive city unless he has an "anchor" ( a booked overnight or at least someone inviting him with the hotel or airfare).

Btw I've noticed this thread was started pre RB collapse, I'm sure many escorts already moved to RM or men4rentnow.com

I know multiple visitors who have done well there without anchors. It's also a nice vacation spot and a good gateway city when concatenating different trips domestically and internationally. The food is also pretty spectacular. I think LA is way more oversupplied than NYC.

c.1600, from Late Latin concatenatus, past participle of concatenare "to link together" (see concatenation). Related: Concatenated; concatenating. concatenate in Technology Expand. To join together two or more files or lists to form one big one. The Unix cat command can be used to concatenate files.

In this part of the country, nearly anyone who uses that word is means it in the technology sense when referring to linking data objects to form a single larger data object.
