A full page of ads and not one for NYC. Used to be the NYC was the Big Apple. Now it seems like the BIg Void.

I know there are many fine local men, and for homec ooking nowhere on earth is better, but New Yorkers like to go out to restaurants too. So escorts, does anyone come the NYC these days?

A full page of ads where?

Rentboy seems to get four or five new ads each day. Don't know how many of these are travelers versus locals, or even newbies versus returners, but I get the impression that NYC still gets its share of fresh meat.

I'm here to say escorts should visit. Work (and clients) are great here, so much so that it doesn't make sense for me to travel elsewhere for work.

So what are the economics of escorting in NYC if you don't live there and clients don't get the room?

The first time I rented a room in NYC on my own dime was right after 9/11 and I got a suite at the Times Square Hilton for about $100. It was all downhill from there, in terms of rates. My deceased escort buddy Bill and I often traveled together and split the cost of rooms, so that made it easier. But my last trips to NYC solo before the Great Recession you'd have to have at least one appointment and maybe two just to break even and make a little money.

I would have to imagine its worse now unless you have a place you can stay for free, like a friend, and do out calls.

As someone who travels to NYC frequently throughout the year, hotels are cheapest in January and February. Most expensive hotels have been towards the end of September and December.

And how much do you pay, if you don't mind me asking? Or, for an escort looking to minimize cost, what would you think somebody should expect to pay?

I usually book through Hotwire or Priceline. I noticed in NYC there is a difference between 4 star and 3.5 star hotels (after staying in a couple of 3.5 star hotels), so I go for 4 star. My last stay right after Memorial Day weekend cost $150 (plus tax which amounts to close to 20%). I stayed at the Sheraton on 7th between 52nd and 53rd. I was there last Saturday and ended up making a day trip of it as nothing desirable was coming up on Hotwire. In January I got a nice hotel for $110/night. I've been doing this for 15 years.

I agree, babe, the raging cost in NYC for hotels have sky-rocketed tremendously during this time of season to where it's virtually impossible for most escorts to get a room solo.

In most cases, the successful regimen for most escorts to make money is to either split the cost of a room which can be at times a little bit of a hassle depending on which escort has more jobs and have to step out of the room more then the other.

Another good idea is to do Air-bnb where both parties can share the cost by having a bigger place with 2 separate rooms to host each others clients in. Airbnb can be a good tool for two escorts to travel to split the cost by having separate rooms to host clients. Usually if your sharing a hotel room, you have to leave if the other escort has a client which can be sometimes a pain in the ass if you're not up for going out at the time.

With sharing the cost of a two bedroom apartment, the other escort can just stay in one room while the working escort is tending to his client in the other, and not have to worrying about being of a disturbance of any kind.

Wow! Those are great prices. Cheaper than I would have guessed. And Priceline is great - that's what I always used.

All a good reason to share a 2 bedroom apartment. All better reason to at least hear the action going on in the next room if you can't view it.

Love the video, sweetheart. Maybe we can watch it more then in detail(Full Feature) when I get back to PS. ;)

I don't actively track it, but I do receive weekly emails from masseurfinder.com, rentmen.com and a few other sites. There seems to be a healthy inflow of visitors on a weekly basis, as per these emails.

On the other hand, I would also think that the competition in NYC is fiercer now. When I first started looking at rentboy.com, say 10 years ago, there were 200 escorts listed in Manhattan. Now rentboy.com has 525 escorts in Manhattan. I think there has been steady growth in the number of professionals on adam4adam. And it would be hard to estimate the number of part time, amateur escorts listing on various social media, but I think it is substantial. NYC is a substantial, affluent market, but this level of competition may deter some visitors.

There are ALWAYS deals here, esp in those Sheraton-type places along the avenues in the 50's and on the E side as well. Am I wrong but seems all you need is ONE client per day and the room cost is covered no?? But I also understand the reticence in coming here W/O some pre-arranged booking or regulars. (ps I've been on some incalls to hotels here I didn't know existed lol, pretty decent modern rooms too, but smalllllllll, the scort and I couldn't exhale at the same time. Like 90 sq ft maybe.

This is NYC after all. The only things you want to do in the room are sleep and fuck and neither of those things require more than 90 se ft.

What about having erections at the same time?

Oh they are beyond tiny, but it's in a really convenient place. Easy subway access, shopping, Wholefoods, Central park, and a hope skip and a jump from Time Square. :)

With that said, the last time I was there, myself and Apollo Phoenix (neither of us being what you would call small LOL!) spent a good number of hours together with nary a problem. :p
