I've browsed this forum for about a year and have gained tons of knowledge. I've debated becoming an escort for years and am now interested in following through. I'm fresh out of college, African-American, very good looking, in great shape, and an overall good nice guy. I live in Los Angeles and, first, would like to know if I even have a look that can get a lot of business. I am willing to post or email my photos for review. Again, just starting out. I toyed with the idea a few months ago, but chickened out. I've researched the business ins, outs, and cautions. I'm not swimming in dough currently, so I would also like advice on which services I can use to advertise that are affordable for someone starting.

I don't think there is a must have look. everyone has different tastes and peculiarities. What one person finds attractive, another person could find repulsive. ie. tattoos, hair, piercings etc.

Not knowing any more than you have told us, I only have some generic advice.

 

Number One: Be yourself. You say you are good looking, so that's the first hurdle passed. There are men who like almost every look, so study what sells. If you already have the whole package, take the plunge and see. If not, then ask yourself what about you already appeals to men and build it up, feature it.

 

By all means buff up and get a good haircut and get some good photos and clean up your place if you are doing incalls, and practice, practice, practice, but all that in support of offering who you really are as a person, suitably renamed and packaged to protect your real identity of course, but authentically you. If you are a good person, even mildly intelligent, genuinely like the kinds of people you will meet as clients, and put yourself out for them, you will find a market niche and in time a real client base. Then as time passes other questions will emerge for you, like, Do I really like doing this? Can I manage my finances and juggle the rest of my life with this? How far do I want to take it?

 

But for starters, look at your assets from a client's point of view, polish them up, offer integrity along with fantasy and fun, and then see where it goes. And let us know as your adventure unfolds.

GREAT ADVICE from BgMstr4u.... above all be yourself and recognize that you are in a service industry... and you have to love your job, or it will quickly show to your clients.... accurate photos, accurate descriptions, etc. are all keys to getting you started on the right path.
