Hi all,

After many months of the occasional drive-by here, mostly to read the reviews, I recently started following some of the threads.

First off, many thanks to Daddy and his team for the site. Also, kudos to the many who post here with their experiences, questions and responses. I am impressed by the intelligence, thoughtfulness and and overall enthusiasm shown by both the clients and the escorts.

I am posting in this lounge because I am seeking feedback/answers from both escorts and those who hire.

Note: If the site admin feels this belongs more in the Deli, please feel free to move it.

Quick background on me:

Middle-aged professional, travel extensively for work and for pleasure. I have yet to make my first hire.

I do however, have a particular escort in mind. We have traded a couple of text messages, and his reviews are impeccable. It's really now just a question of us both being in the same city at the same time.

My first instinct was to hire for an overnight or even a weekend and meet somewhere neutral (likely Vegas) but I've seen many comments that suggest a simple 1 hour session to see if the actual chemistry matches the texts, pictures and expectations. Seems reasonable to me and is completely doable from my end.

But letting myself get just a bit ahead of the game and assuming our first meeting goes well and we decide to meet again in Sin City, I have a couple of questions:

Transportation: The escort I have in mind would likely need to fly to Vegas. How does that usually work? Do I book the flight for him? Would he book and pay and I reimburse? Or is the cost of transportation usually included in the quoted rate? I understand the details agreed upon would be a mutual decision between the escort and myself. I am just trying to gain an understanding of what the prevailing standard is.

Part II of the above question: Should I expect to book a full weekend for such a trip? The total travel time each way would be about 2.5 hrs (drive to airport/flt/travel to Strip). In other words, would an escort generally make such a trip for a single day? The reason I ask is not based on cost so much as while in Vegas, I would want to spend some time at the tables - something the escort may not be interested in and I don't want to abandon him while I demonstrate my total lack of odds knowledge to the craps dealers.

Tipping: I've seen a couple of comments where the escort receives a tip. Is that the standard? I have no problem with an ad hoc expression of my appreciation for an experience that exceeds all expectations.

Is there a formula? % of total session cost? $/hour? I don't want to insult by offering (not likely) and I certainly don't want to insult by offering an inadequate tip so any guidelines offered would be much appreciated.

Supplies: I am not into anything that requires much in the way of toys, gizmos, gadgets or hardware, but obviously condoms and lube are on the "must" list. Generally, who is responsible for bringing this?

I know it sounds like a naive question, but in nearly 30 years of traveling for business, I have never but for one time (interesting story, different thread) hooked up with someone while traveling so I never even think to pack lube or condoms.

Appearance: Again, something I can discuss with the escort. I am kinda meh on tattoos, though I can appreciate artwork that seems to be have a purpose as opposed to random stars, Japanese characters, skulls and crosses. But when it comes to body piercings, total bucket of ice-water in the lap turn-off for me.

Would it be unkind or disrespectful for me to request that any hardware be left at home?

Anyhow, thanks for taking the time to read and respond. I appreciate the forum to discuss.

I can only speculate about a few, but here's my take on some of your questions:

  • Supplies - I would imagine most male companions have preferences when it comes to lubrication, condoms and other supplies since their safety and comfort is likely paramount to them; it would seem reasonable that they will be Boy Scout like and be prepared.
  • Appearance - Many reveal a lot of their physical features in their advertisement venues. Many of these venues also have places for them to list if they have tattoos. If you don't see any, I see no harm in asking if they have any body art.
  • Body Piercings - If this is a huge deal breaker for you, simply ask. Depending on what's pierced it may or may not be able to be removed (e.g. tongue ring, nipple bars) simply because the piercing may close up or become difficult to reinsert if removed. If that's the case, then clearly not the person for you, so move on.
  • Booking Time - I think this is going to depend on your gentleman friend. Again, communication is key here. You may decide you only want see him for 2-3 hours while he's in town. He may want to see you and hope a late flight back to where he came from or get his own place over the weekend and see other clients while he's in town.

Only you can take responsibility for your sexual health. If you expect to have safer sex be part of the proceedings, arrived stocked up to bring it about. Otherwise, you are abdicating all choice in the matter.

Many escorts will arrive with their own supplies as part of taking care of THEIR sexual health. It is not their job to ensure yours. That's on you, and it's not limited only to escorts.

Wait.. what.. it does?

Prostitution is legal in Nevada EXCEPT in LV, Reno, Carson City and a few other places. I assumed it was legal statewide so good to know! This is why the brothels are out in the desert! Source Wikipedia

Well I know THAT.. I live in Vegas, but I really haven't heard anything about sting operations.. at least not directed towards male escorts. They seem to go after the pimp/female prostitute/female escort/female escort agency end of things.

How are you doing today... HAL?

Here's some feedback. Hope it's helpful.

Go with 2 hours instead of 1, especially since you have longer meetings in your mind. That way you’ll get to stretch things out a little and get a taste for your social compatibility.

Me (and others similar to me): I would book the flight after clearing the ticket times and prices with you. The fee is usually discussed separately (I would like THIS for my fee, and the plane ticket will be THAT). Depending on the circumstance, I might ask for a deposit upfront to pay for the ticket/trip fee, or I might not. This deposit might be refundable (or not) depending on the escort, even if the escort cancels. Be upfront in your questions and ALWAYS ask about possible scenarios or a Plan B. Weather can fuck up a trip, as well as mechanical problems or a missed flight. Make sure you are both clear and in agreement on all details, and that there are no surprises, especially on fees.

Other escorts: You book the flight and handle the costs and pass along the details. You’ll need to get their personal information to do this. Many clients use miles/points.

It depends. I’m on the East Coast and it would be a significant undertaking to do for an overnight, but I’ve done LA before for the exact same plan. Ask your escort about interests and if he’s not a gambler, then either reconsider a different venue, come up with an alternative plan for him, or ask him to suck it up and be your companion anyway. Escorts are easily plied with drinks and/or coins to drop in a slot machine. Or pay for a haircut or give him some shopping money.

Also keep in mind that there may be a different rate for a weekend as opposed to an overnight rate x 2, because it's a longer period and in this case involves some travel. Whatever you do, make sure that the two of you can carry a conversation for more than an hour or two, and that you have something to do besides fool around. One of the best trips I've ever taken involved being taught a card game on the flight over, so that by the time we were in the 3rd or 4th day of a 10-day trip, each of us was alternating at whipping each other's ass and we had a blast.

Tipping: I've seen a couple of comments where the escort receives a tip. Is that the standard? I have no problem with an ad hoc expression of my appreciation for an experience that exceeds all expectations.

This is entirely up to you. There is no “formula” per se, and could also be a gift instead of money if you’re so inclined. It’s an escort’s own responsibility to charge what he thinks his time is worth, and your tipping should be icing on the cake—not the cake.

Supplies: I am not into anything that requires much in the way of toys, gizmos, gadgets or hardware, but obviously condoms and lube are on the "must" list. Generally, who is responsible for bringing this?

You’re thinking about it now, so go buy some. Or wait and go by a CVS, etc when you get there. There will be plenty of them and you can buy a larger container of lube and not worry about TSA size restrictions. Toys should be discussed beforehand, but an impromptu trip to a sex store (and its booths!) with an escort is usually a fun affair. At least, it is for me.

You cannot and should not depend on someone else to keep you safe. This is your personal responsibility.

Appearance: Again, something I can discuss with the escort. I am kinda meh on tattoos, though I can appreciate artwork that seems to be have a purpose as opposed to random stars, Japanese characters, skulls and crosses. “I don’t like hardware, and I don't want to break my teeth. Please leave it at home.” If they don’t like it, they don’t have to accept the appointment. It’s blunt but it does the job.

Also... at least one of the posters on this board was busted in LV for escorting. From what I understand, the state wants to make money on it and regulate it, and they don't want anyone who doesn't work in one of the taxable brothels to "dilute the brand." Be careful.

Unfortunately there is not a male brothel in NV, and it sounds like the State would prefer there not to be a male brothel.

Isn't that fakey escort show with the straight guys set in Vegas?

It probably is. Though that is not a brothel.. that's a porn set :p

I seriously doubt I could get one of those guys to do naughty unspeakable acts of depravity on my tender innocent flesh. ;):p

My favorite part is the setup: "Here's Alice, she's a third grade teacher in Trelawny, VT—and Rico is going to pop her escort cherry! Let's take a closer look!"

Because that's obviously a real client lady-woman-person.

True.. and not to mention money for sex is illegal.. and if it was "real" they would be in so much trouble.

Last I heard the state required specific medical tests of the brothel employees and the tests specify lady parts.

There was a big deal (i.e. publicity) exemption a while back for a specific male (serving females only ONLY HE STRESSED), but otherwise if you don't have a vagina you don't qualify for that job because you can't pass the physical.

yup!! that's it.. the bureaucratic red tape.. a few words in black ink on the law and suddenly men cant legally serve in a brothel, and none of the commissioners wanted to reword the language.
