I'm sorry that happened to you and that it happened here (loosely speaking; I live in the NY metro area) but glad it wasn't more serious, though a part of me wants to say be careful, especially if your head hit the floor or wall. I wonder if getting off without paying was his objective all along but he was new at it and nervous. Or he was high or conflicted. Who knows.

Anyone who rips off the escorts in the ways stated above is worse than pond scum and the warning is important for all escorts to hear. I suppose there will always be some risk unless payment is made in advance, which opens up a whole different can of worms with many issues from the clients side.

 

The one thing that caught my attention was some of the comments made by Killian that leads me to believe that he would be fine with a confrontation of some sorts after the fact with the guy. I am not sure what the end game would be in such an effort and if it would be wise. Would it be to embarrass him sufficiently to provide the payment he owes? To threaten/coerce the thief? To have him arrested for passing a bad check? To give the scoundrel a sound thrashing? Perhaps it is wimpy of me to say this, but I could see and would be concerned for things escalating and potentially getting much worse for an escort that made such a confrontation.

 

I am sure everyone wants this guy to pay some price for his actions (justifiable so imho) but when dealing with an unknown scum, one can not be too careful in this day and age. Beyond the warning, not sure what else would be a wise thing to do.

WOW that is almost word-for-word what happened to an escort friend of mine here in NY. Maybe he is a coward, but it rather looks to me like a smart move. He was not interested in fighting, he is obviously into not paying. That was the best way to guarantee his success.

I do not think there is a way to be 100% safe at avoiding these freaks. You can lock your door and hide the keys, but who knows what a crazy person

But who knows how a crazy person would react if locked in. The issue here is not to be brave or to be a coward, but to be SAFE. Just as clients take a risk hiring a guy we are not sure will provide a good service, these situation are just one example of the many risks that come with escorting. I remember watching an WW2-era British video on fighting without weapons. The instructor had to explicitly remind his viewers (servicemen) that when their lives are at risk, they needed to forget about all the "fair fighting" rules they had learned.
