British QAF-Charlie Hunnam

So I came across this picture of Charlie Hunnam at 18 (he was supposed to be 15 in the show) in Queer As Folk. I think he's a lot hotter than Randy Harrison who played in the American version (at least at the time).

( Randy was supposed to be 15 or 16 in the show but I think in real life he had already graduated from Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM of course for those of you in the know). So he was probably at least 21 or 22 at the time.

From this picture, Randy appears to have become hotter over time.

No I don't think so. But Charlie and Chris do look somewhat similar. So I can see why you thought that. Chris is bigger than Charlie. But they could both eat cookies in my bed anytime.

I apologize. That may very well be Chris Hemsworth. But he showed up on a search page for Randy Harrison. They do look a bit similar although Chris has a better physique. But Randy's physique has improved (as shown below). And I'm pretty sure this is him. And he has gotten hotter with age although I still prefer Charlie Hunnam.

 

I hope this is Randy this time.

 

 

So what's the vote- who would you have rather seen on QAF-Charlie or Randy?

Definitely Charlie. Never felt that Randy really connected with Gale nor did I feel a realistic connection between their characters in the Canadian version. Randy's character was really rather bland and for me, not all that hot. Hard to beliee that the hottest guy in Pittsburgh would lose his head over him.

That we disagree on, I thought/think Gale Harold is gorgeous, but then I like a certain look facially. Also would take Charlie over Randy any day! Different strokes (literally!)

Queer As Folk -

 

QAF(US Version) Randy Harrison is stunningly hot, and well educated which is a major turn on. Kinda felt though on the show he gave too much of the "kept pretty boy" image on the show which is unfortunate, but the pretty boy who was real and later was true to himself outside of Brian. Wink. My type of guy on the show is Ben(Robert Gant). He would be the type of guy I would love to marry one day. . I felt Robert playing Ben on the show was a "Great" example to what a good quality gay man is - or should be to society. Ben(Robert Gant) was one on the show(as well as in real life outside of the show)very polished, caring, educated, and most of....HOTTT. LOL. Gale Harold is very good looking as well as he played the role of Brian(from the UK version of QAF) quite brilliantly I think. I agree with Robster though when it comes Gale Harold as Brian Kinney being the "HOTTEST" guy in Pittsburgh - That's maybe just a tad exaggerated to an extent as for any guy ANYWHERE to be the "HOTTEST AND TALKED ABOUT GUY YOU WANNA GET WITH" as there are a lot of hot guys everywhere, and how the show made this guy the talk of the town like he's God's gift to men was a little bit much to glorify on TV. I do know however gay men like Brian do exist in real life which can give respectable gay men in general a bad name to have such arrogance and such a "self-centered" appeal which are NOT how a lot of gay men represent themselves at all.

I might not describe Gale Harold as the best looking guy on the planet, but I thought he was pretty good-looking and incredibly charismatic.

PS As hot as I thought Gale was back then (although to be honest I probably thought Robert Gant was handsomer), Gale has aged well and looks even hunkier now. This picture is from 2012.
