The thread definitely shows the wide diversity of looks of men of Brazil. Every look is magnificent and they all have one attribute in common--SEXY AS HELL!!!!!!!

Boston Bill

Exactly, that mix of natives, blacks, Mediterranean (Portuguese, Spanish and Italians), Germans, Middle Eastern and Japanese keeps getting better.

Is also a country of great contrast where retirement dollars are always welcomed.

I love them all !!!!!!!!!! What a great collection. Thanks for sharing... I have only been to Brazil once and only to San Paulo, but I am hoping to get back there soon for an extended period of time. I found that many of the middle aged guys still have the beautiful bodies, stunning faces and infectious smiles... I don't see that in most countries.

May I inquire?

Nice set Marylander. Indeed the mixes produce some beautiful boys.

AND retirement dollars might be welcomed, but sadly they have problems that are almost insurmountable, as evidenced by the pic you posted.

May I inquire what problems in Brazil are insurmountable? Nothing I saw in photos presented showed any problems that I could see.

I am currently in Brazil on another extended stay and this is my 118th trip here. I am not aware of any problems that could damage the economy or tourism. Brazilians are generally a peaceful group so there is no danger of any war. What problems do you mean?

Just curious. Thanks for a response.

Hey imrthr, I do remember you speaking about your numerous trips there. I think that is amazing. I too have friends who go all the time, and absolutely love it. Marylander was speaking about retirement dollars being welcomed, and then posted the second pic that showed the disparity between rich and poor.

I briefly considered Brazil along with Panama as a place to spend my final years and my retirement dollars, but I think the poverty would bother me, and I would lose my health care. My thought is that solving the great disparity between the classes is something that is insurmountable. Billions were spent on the world cup, and from what I have read, very little went towards building much needed infrastructure, solving pollution problems, and addressing the poverty issue.

Those are my initial thoughts, but since you are a frequent visitor, and I am sure very knowledgeable about what life is really like there, I would be interested in hearing your take on things.

Feel free to pm me if you wish.

I've been to Brazil 6-7 times in various places and at different times of the year. Despite the widespread belief of disparity of classes and poverty, as a tourist you won't notice much of it and you will be in security. Some Brazilians may not be wealthy, but they are happy with the little they have and their culture is not materialistic as our Western society. I never had a bad experience in Brazil (I'm not a risk taker) and I would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't visited this beautiful country yet. Leave your prejudices at home. ;)

I do not want to take this thread off topic. Therefore, I will be brief and comment that poverty is found in many countries, not just Brazil. Contrast Beverly Hills with Watts in California. Wealth versus poverty. It is sad but that is just the way life is.

Now, back to those great photos that were posted.

Steven's post pretty much summarizes my experiences and impressions of Brazil. During all my trips (and they are for weeks at a time) the only problem I encountered over the years with poverty was when someone pick-pocketed my cell phone. That was a non violent event.

As to losing health insurance, that is not necessarily so. Legally, if one set up coverage, excellent health insurance is available at less money than one pays in the U.S. As to quality of health care, one example is the Einstein Medical Center - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Einstein_Hospital

Yes, just like any country, in Brazil there is the good and the bad, including poverty.

I may not have chosen the man who ended up winning based on some of the competitors' photos posted here (particularly Mister Sao Paolo and Mister Goias), but I wouldn't kick any of them out of bed for eating crackers.

I'm with you here, maninsoma! I've also seen and have been with much hotter Brasilian men in that country!

Hey imrthr, I understand what your saying, but your comparisons actually confirm my point. So I have to say, that I just

disagree with you. In the end however, much of it is very sad, and that just might be the way life is.

You can lock yourself up in a secluded mansion on Palm Beach Island and throw away the keys. That way you don't have to deal with real life and poor people.

As imrthr pointed out, poverty exist in every country, and you have to do some personal work on yourself and how you deal with it.

I think your negative feeling comes from the way you were brought up.[/color]

What a nasty and ridiculous post...Poverty should bother everyone. And attacking my parents? Really Steven? That's outrageous.

I don't believe that Steven attacked your parents. I suspect he doesn't even know them.

And, yes, poverty does bother many, but it doesn't bother everyone. Not everyone feels the same way about everything. That is why there are so many diverse opinions in this world.

No one should tell another person how to feel.

Poverty exists. It always has and always will, like it or not.

Hey imrthr, I sent you a private message. Didn't want to discuss publicly. Thanks...
