Are outcalls more lucrative?

I observed a comment from an escort who will be doing a tour stating that he would only be taking incalls.

 

I would think that would seriously impact his tour profit. In particular by excluding clients who might be classified as wealthy since they can afford extended or repeat sessions.

 

Lots of generalities here - but my thinking is that wealthy clients are, typically, leader oriented "Type A" personalities. As such they would, typically, want to "be in control" of the situation as much as possible. Thus they would prefer outcalls.

 

Am I wrong in my thinking?

 

Here's my question for those of you who tour -

 

Do you see a distinct preference among clients, whom you believe fit in the wealthy category, in choosing incalls vs outcalls?

I got mixed up on this type of post before. Just to clarify. Incalls/outcalls from the escort's point of view incalls at escorts place or outcalls at the clients place/clients hotel. Or from the clients point of view--just the opposite of previous scenarios.

I have never noticed any correlation between net worth and wanting to be a leader or being one type or the other. Some very wealthy people want to control as much as they can during the session, some very wealthy people want to relinquish control as much as it is safely possible.

 

On the other hand some want to control the situation by having the session at their own territory, some like to control the situation by meeting at the escort's place, that way not risking the escort knowing more than they want the escort to know.

 

Here's my question for those of you who tour -

No, no correlation in my case. I also believe that more in calls or outcalls tend to be a matter of which city you are in, where in the city you are based, how easy is it to get there/park/be unnoticed.

I don't like doing outcalls in certain cites when I'm on tour either cause of the travel time and additional cost. Inless its an overnight or an extended session then yes. I'm not going to spend two hours on a subway roundtrip for a one hour appointment thats not smart business when you have a full day of appointments. However back in southern cali which is home for me, I don't mind doing outcall cause I know the area and I can monover around pretty quickly.

Not just for Juan:

I assume when touring an escort picks a particular city, and location within that city, for specific financial reasons.

Is there a significant difference between incall vs outcall IRT the following focus of your visit:

1. Just local population

2. Party event (Vegas, New Year's Eve, Mardi Gras, etc)

3. Business / Convention

4. Major sporting event

5. Tourist magnet

By the way, not that it matters, but it was not a hiring inquiry that I asked Killian about - totally different subject. However, it was a part of his response that raised the question I posted.

I totally agree with you, Amir. What I do, which works really well most of the time is this: I charge my same rate for an incall our an outcall in the DT area. If I have to go outside the DT area I charge my roundtrip cabfare on top of my fee. If the Cab ride is longer than 20 minutes, then I only accept a minimum 2 hr appointment (Plus the roundtrip cabfare.) Of course some shy away at the costs and end up coming to me, but for a lot of people this works really well. This way I find that I can still provide the service that is needed without losing money in the process.

 

I'd be doing in calls only because I feel safer. My safety is more important to me than $280.

 

I have to congratulate you on that. Whether it is true or not that you are safer doing in calls, what really matters is that you found your own comfort zone and are respecting your boundaries. I agree, your peace of mind and loving your own work is much more important than any money.

 

For most of us reaching this level of maturity often takes many years. Keep at it, stud!

Hmmm, I doubt it. I've learned in this country (maybe all over the world, but specifically here), the same people (using assumed wealth here) who are living in million dollar homes and driving Jaguars and Porches, are the same ones who are quick to fuss about anything over $100, want it full-service, everything on the menu, and then stiff you in a heart beat. I met a guy like that not long ago. Cool guy and all, but it took him 53 emails over 2 months to book and it wasn't even my full rate. I show up, and he's fucking living very well on the side of the mountain. I'm like dude, really?

 

I was at a barbershop in Las Vegas, and I was eavesdropping on a conversation he was having about a customer who happily showed him his million-dollar home, but yet can't seem to pay the barber his full fee. Barber said he's "lost count' of how much the guy actually owes him.

 

I'd even say most overnighters aren't necessarily filthy rich, but may just have some additional sources of income here and there, or own a business.

Hmmmm...I wouldn't get too complacent with that. I find outcalls safer than incalls, for a variety of reasons. One, you can always googlemap their place and neighborhood to check it out. I'm not sure the specifics of your decision, and maybe in New York it's different. But, incalls carry more risk. Anonymous guy, could be using a google-voice or walmart phone, and be up to no good (God forbid, but just comparing the 2). I find travel incalls to be even more risky than home incalls. But, that was more in the earlier days and lately it's been okay. But don't get comfortable.

 

Whereas, if you were at their place...they know that you know where they live, and you probably informed another party of their address as well...so they'd be less willing to do anything stupid. I won't go into details, but when I was much younger...the ones who did manage to pull something stupid...let's just say they 'got' theirs.

Big Bump to that!!! Very wealthy people do not want you to know they are wealthy. Its very obvious and no words are required.

 

And they may be very wealthy...but probably use it alone to get guys to sleep over for free and wine and dine them instead of pay them cash money lol. I would meet guys like that in Miami all the time. Back when I was just trying to get my foot in the door and realized the same type guys I was working for in real estate offices, would actually take me on dates and pay for it lol. But, I was still going home wondering how the bills would be paid, so I had to cut that out. Not saying they have to pay for it just because they're rich and 20 years older than me...but I don't necessarily look at them with $$ eyes either.
