These men are the top ten male models in the world according to their 2013 paychecks, according to Forbes magazine. I'm not quite sure why. I certainly wouldn't consider them 10's as far as I'm concerned. What do you think? As we all know, 24 year-old American Sean O'Pry is number one again, at $1.5 million last year:

Coming in a distant 7th at $425,000 is fellow American, 37 year-old Tyson Ballou. Quite a bit better looking than #6, if you want my opinion, although his name reminds me of a Jane Fonda movie.

25 year-old Dane Tobias Sorensen is the 10th. He made $265,000 in 2013. I'm not sure I get this guy either. Nice to see that at least his salary isn't that far ahead of mine. I can't say I'd jack off to his picture, though.

First of all, I'm waiting to hear which ones were prior porn models at Randy Blue or whatever. Well, if I had to rank them from top to bottom, I'd say O'Pry, Nessman, Mills, Ballou, Gandy, Kulkov, Kortajena, Sorensen, Edwards, Burns. The bottom four don't really get my gonads going much. How about you?

Some of the top 10 are attractive, others not so much (#3 & #6 in particular, I'm just not seeing why they're top models), but this sexy Siberian makes me growl (in a good way!).

One of the most important aspects of a model is how clothes fit on them, which especially for high fashion models means they have to be very slim. Totally agree with the last two posters, also the trend in modeling today seems to favor skinny and slightly androgynous looking guys, not my personal type, but thats what the fashion designers seem to want. Unfortunately yes, but since I have a tendency to undress these models with my eyes, I prefer guys who are more than a bit more beefed up... Still I think that these guys are chosen not only to make the clothes look good, but to do so in a manner that dose not intimidate potential purchasers.

Now this guy has the slim, but developed body that makes him look great in clothes or out of them. Plus he's so damn handsome with those gorgeous eyes, tanned body, and light hair in all the right places. He's definitely # 1!!!!

Sorry to say that none of these guys gets my motor running. As others have pointed out, most runway male models these days are very thin, tall and not muscular. Somehow the fashion designers are choosing men who are more like the women models they use than ever before. Look at some of the male models from ten years ago and you will see many more "masculine" guys, IMHO.

Well, I guess that explains why I don't find most of these guys that handsome, since I prefer more muscular guys. It seems that models of prior years used to be better built. Kellan Lutz used to be a model, as was Justin Deeley, and Joshua Michael Brickman, all of whom I find tons more handsome than any of these ten guys. I'm not sure how these waifs are better at selling clothes. How many customers identify with the Bergen-Belsen physique? I probably would pay for sex with half of these guys, but there are a lot of escorts I'd rather hire. I would just blow a fortune for a roll in the hay with Lutz, Deeley, or Brickman, though--probably some pretty insane $$.

I'm glad there are different tastes, or we would all be chasing after the same escorts! I wonder if as Samai139 noted part of it is that men in the US seem to like heavily muscled, beefy guys that would be considered too big in the rest of the world? I actually find these guys to be about perfect in their height/weight ratio. In terms of modeling, I'm thinking that models who are too big would draw attention from the clothes and direct it to their body instead? These models are also used for luxury, higher end clothing and there's a definite link between how thin people are in the US and their income level. Since they're trying to appeal to higher-income women (even when the models are modeling male clothing I think that wives have a huge influence on clothing worn by straight guys) they probably want a "look" that appeals to these women. I am a bit surprised at the lack of diversity. At least with female models multi-ethnic models seem to be common. I would define that as a model where you aren't really sure what their ethnicity is. Some of those models are unbelievably beautiful and exotic.

To put it bluntly, most models are not very "good looking" in the classical sense.

 

In fact, I think many of them are down right "average" to "odd looking".

 

This list is pretty suspect to begin with. I know several male models who make more than

many of these guys and they are not on the list. Either their accountants are better at hiding

their income or their PR firms are better at not getting cheesy publicity like this....who knows?

 

All I know is there are 10 guys on my block alone whom I find better looking.
