Hi Finbar,

I’ll try to repost the links here to see if they work:

I can’t speak to David’s ad, but I would be very cautious about Johnny’s. In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s a fake.

I copied the image location for one of Johnny’s pics and Googled it. It appears as though this person raided some poor Model Mayhem dude’s portfolio.

While it still could be him, a further search came up with this review on Manworks:

http://www.manworks.com/Listing.aspx?lu=Johnnygeez

If you scroll down to the bottom, you’ll see that the reviewer wrote: “11/19/2013 - I went to his hotel and the guy who opened the door was not the guy pictures or described here. He was indeed white, brown hair, and attractive but the height, face and body build did not match the ad. The massage was also not great. After talking to him he told me he had no massage training which, honestly was evident. I don't mean to slander him but it just was not good. Just no effort and there...”

Sorry!

Why should the reviewer feel "sorry" for divulging that he was a victim of a liar who advertised services using stolen photos of a different person?

Too many ads are fake. A client has a high probability of responding to an ad that is false, a bait-and-switch, a set up, or worse. What is the solution to such a high rate of fake ads?
