New Club for South Beach?

I've heard the people from Score (Lincoln Road) are going to open another club on 5th and Washington and that they will have strippers. Anyone hear about this or have more info?

Looks like the rumours were true. The old Score on Lincoln Road has closed and the new location at Washington and 14th opens tomorrow (Friday). Friends in Miami tell me they are supposed to have strippers and a private dance area. We'll see.

I'll be in Miami later in the month and I'll check it out. If anyone goes beforehand, please report.

Exactly! Both Twist and Score are institutions in South Beach. Now that score is closer to Twist the competition will be more intense.

It's right down the street from each other. Not always, but sometimes similar clubs close to each other actually bring in more business, because they feed off each other. In WEHO, all the major bars and clubs are literally in a two block stretch. I guess time will tell. My favorite bartender in FTL works at Score on the weekends, so I will check with him to see how business is, once they get up and running, and all the initial 'hoopla' dies down, and report back.

Has anyone made it to the new Score? I'm heading to Miami in a few weeks and want to check it out. Any info would be appreciated!
