I spent two weeks in Stockholm in the summer of 2011. I never found any escorts. But, Stockholm is very gay friendly. I hope you are staying in either Gamla Stan or the Sodermaln sections of the city, not downtown. Both Gamla Stan and Sodermaln have gay bars and clubs (quick subway rides from downtown). Gamla Stan has a great gay outdoor cafe called Chokladkoppen (near the The Nobel Museum), with very knowledgable waiters as to the gay scene. Also, weekends bring tourists from all over Europe, especially England. Age is not such a big deal in Sweden, so it is easy to meet someone on the street or in a bar (although probably not an escort), no matter your age. Americans are well liked, so starting a conversation is very easy.
