One of my favorite porn websites is www.manhub.com. Having an issue on my iPad with the site being redirected to a static domain instead of the actual website. It lists as "static.manhubmedia.com" and notes the domain is for sale.

However, by disabling my WiFi and switching to Verizon LTE the site loads fine and videos download. But the redirect happens again if I switch back to the WiFi network. BTW, site works just fine on my Droid on the wireless connection.

ISP is Comcast. Using AirPort Extreme 5th Generation router. iPad3.

I've cleared the browsing history and cookies several times. So, anyone out there with an explanation and a fix?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

This kind of "redirect" is the result of DNS. Given the news of the day, it wouldn't be surprising if Apple (or your ISP, etc.) is fiddling with their default DNS settings. Although this could also be manhub.com detecting iOS coming in and trying to send them to a iOS-specific URL. (Trying and failing, obviously.)

If it's the latter, they'll sort it out eventually. Same if it's the former, actually. :p

A note to manhub.com's support might be productive.
