Just curious for those that bottom, has bottoming with silicone based lube versus water based made any noticeable differences when you bottom?

Im thinking of really switching to Silicone so that I dont have to worry about reapplying lube.

Definitely find silicone based lube is better for bottoming. Much smoother fucking for longer periods. I prefer it when I'm topping as well. I've found that the Astroglide silicone lube still becomes sticky, so I don't use it. I like the Wet and KY silicone lubes the best.

This may not be an answer to your question, but I think you may want to know anyway:

Silicone lube doesn't wash off easily with most soaps. However, it washes of really well with dishwashing detergent (the type you use for doing the dishes manually, not the type you use for the dishwasher). If you get spots of silicone lube on furniture or on the carpet, there's no real need to clean it. Although it may take a while, it will evaporate. There may be a chance that silicone toys get affected by silicone lube, but I'm not really sure. You may want to check this. Although, if you use toys, you can easily use a massage oil as a lubricant.

Have fun bottoming!

Shampoo also seems to work better at washing off silicone than normal soap.

As an escort that only bottoms I can definitely say that silicon based lube is better than water base lube. The most noticeable differences I find is that silicon based lube holds up better and doesn't need to be applied as often. That said I still personally apply a lot prior to bottom. Yes cleaning it off is a lot harder but I find hot water helps a lot. My personal favorite is Wet Platinum but I have also started using Pjur which I also really like.

Marketing companies have created and put on the market special soap that washes off silicone lube :)

I swear only by silicone lube. It's by far the best lube out there for topping or bottoming.

Just don't use it on your nicest sheets and linens at home that Mom gave you ... ;)

YES silicone toys will be affected by silicone lube - NEGATIVELY. the lube will eat away at the toy. it's not a fast process, but yeah, silicone lube WILL eventually damage your silicone toys.

and - um - using massage oil as a lubricant on toys??? I can't think of a single case where I would do that. first of all, if toys are being shared (meaning, if more than one person is using the toy up their ass), then the toy needs to have a condom on it. otherwise you run the very real risk of passing STIs, like anal warts. and oil WILL breakdown the condom - so that's a no.

if its a toy you use just for yourself - well, most oils that I encounter don't do great things to assholes. stick to lube for toy activities, so you can REALLY have fun bottoming.
