I had stopped by the UES location a month ago and was greeted by a female masseur. She spoke very little English and told me they had no male masseurs. The place is very easy to get to and appeared very clean.

 

I had a general question though - how does one just walk into these places (and there are several in NY, listed in the NEXT magazine) and ask to check out the available guys and go with the best looking one ? I mean that requires a level of chutzpah or tact that i have not yet mastered.

 

Any suggestions/experiences ?

Well, diehard, I don't see why that requires either tact or chutzpah. You just walk in, be polite (which I'm sure you are), and look around. If you don't see anything you like, say you'll drop in another time. I'm sure they're used to that all the time. Do you buy a pair of shoes every time you go into a shoe store?
