I've had an escort whom I hire with regularity cancel due to a sore throat, etc. on the day of the appointment. I was disappointed, of course, but never thought for a moment that he wasn't being truthful. In fact, we re-scheduled for a few days later and had a terrific time as usual. For me, here's the difference: my escort personally called to tell me he didn't feel well and he sounded genuinely sincere in his tone and demeanor. Cancellation via a personal phone call seems less impersonal and "stinging" to me than getting cancelled on via text message. Texting a cancellation seems a bit cowardly (regardless whether it's the client or the escort canceling.

apologies - at 4am he texted to confirm the appointment for 1pm the following day. at 12 noon, he wrote saying that he had a "soar" (sic) throat and needed to cancel.

 

You've left out the part about Nick offering to meet at 3 PM even though he thought for YOUR Friends Health it was not A VERY GOOD IDEA?

 

 

I don't know how much your friend knows about Body Building but being suseptible to Colds etc is not all that rare.

I'm sure it has been Resolved by those directly involved...and not a case of He Said/He Said ..just the facts in the way the Cancellation went down.
