Anyone who flips the bird in his ad gets immediate rejection from me. If he's going to be that disrespectful in a photo, it doesn't bode well for a face to face meeting... IMHO

There was a huge conversation about this issue on Brad Lautner's ad before someone else started a new thread about the putting weight on his last pictures.

I understand you didn't read the thread, sometimes I don't read the whole forum or I have nothing to say, I just don't want to start the whole talk about flipping the bird as cool thing to do among young men.

Here you have the link, it was a popular thread, enjoy!

Does anyone have any experience with Axel Woods in Chicago?

FYI - This is not the Axel in Chicago that is reviewed on Daddy's and advertises on Rentboy.

Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, Axel here. I just wanted to address the issue at hand. I would like to first and foremost apologize if any of the content in my ad offended any of you in any way, that definitely wasn't my intention. As it has been stated, the flipping the bird gesture does not carry the same negative connotation to people as young as I am, but I should have been more conscious of the generational gap that exists often between myself and my clients. The picture will be replaced with another that I'm sure you will all find more enjoyable. As for the tattoos, I really hope that none of you use my decision to have art that is meaningful and important to me to negatively judge my character. I assure you, the ink is in no way an indication of my personality. I aim always to be accommodating and respectful for my clients to ensure the best possible experience for all involved. Thanks for your time and I hope you all are well.

That is about as respectful and thoughtful a response as I have ever seen from an escort on this site. Thanks Axel for the sensible and non-emotional explanations and for taking the time to reply.

I agree that Axel's response was very well done. I'm just still having trouble with the concept that anyone would do that for a public picture. And it's not like I haven't ever flipped off a friend (back in college) in a jokey sarcastic manner after a few drinks if we were fooling around. Oh well I guess it is the influence most likely of hip hop. And the fact that I am now old and out of touch. I do want to say that even in college I thought the style of wearing your boxers above your waistband- yes the custom goes back at least to the late 70's- looked stupid. And back then a style worn mainly by guys in fraternities.

I, too, thought Axel's reply was professional and well-composed. I wish he would visit Southern Cal. I'd love to see this hot stud!

Well Axel, excellent response. I am however in disagreement with many of my fellow posters here. Being one of the "old geezers" that understands the new and improved connotation, it is a little perplexing and sad I suppose that you feel a need to take the picture down. I understand your desire not to want to offend potential clients, since their are those that just have decided that it is offensive regardless of any explanation offered up. As others have pointed out, it is advertisement for a wide range of clientèle, and I suppose that it would be prudent to bow to all those who are your target market. I for one however, understand how it is being used today and do not find it offensive in the least, and actually thought that the picture was very cute.

As a matter of fact, in the previous thread I explained how several of the young escorts I have hired, flipped me off during our time together. One such incident was when this young escort was standing on the back of the boat about to do a back flip into the water. I dared him to do it, so he stood up, started laughing and flipped me off, and did a rather nice back flip into the water. To me, it was hilarious. So there you have it Axel, I guess everything in this world must be politically correct these days, and that to me is very sad indeed, when no matter what someone does, someone else becomes offended.
