I went to weather.com to post the temperatures for Detroit for the rest of the week, but between looking at them and the slideshow of multiple scenarios of how the world might end, I thought better of depressing everyone.

So not fair I will be missing out on this great opportunity as I will be in fort lauderdale sunday. I really was hoping to make it out there as well as DC was SO much fun. Loved meeting everyone. Hopefully we will all have another opportunity this year.

In case anyone thinks I'm dissing PS, don't. I actually like the place. Almost bought a condo there a few years ago, and my well do so in the future.

 

But a few years back I was in a restaurant in PS with my favorite escort. He was 21. (I wasn't.) At some point he looked around us and leaned across the table wide-eyed whispering "we're the youngest people here!". Probably the only time we were in the same age bracket in his mind.

It's comforting to read that the weather will be cooperating, Chris. I flew from Tokyo where I spent the whole day of Tuesday and landed into LAX where it was still Tuesday, midday. I gained a whole new day :-)

 

I'm also ready for the weekend in Palm Springs and looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and making new friends.
