I am unsure of the etiquette concerning contact a guy about a hire using the daddy's private messaging. Is this okay to do?

It is always nice to say hi and introduce yourself here through pm but if you're looking to hire it's best to move things in the way the Escort is used to booking people. For instance, I'm big on communication so I need to have someone's email. I can send emails from my phone on the fly of anything weird comes up. Harder to check daddy's on the road..

I agree with Xander, I think that if your intent is to hire, then perhaps using email is best. It is not necessarily inappropriate, an escort probably would like the business regardless how someone chose to contact him, but email just seems easier for both parties involved.

I've engaged escorts in conversations on Daddy's PM, mostly cases where I was commenting on something someone else had said about the guy in a posting, and usually with guys I already knew.

 

I'd never think of PMing here for a session, since I don't think many of them are here regularly enough.

It may be OK to make initial contact if seriously interested, but both parties should agree on the best and most acceptable means of future correspondence--voice, text, or email.

When Private Messaging became an option on this website a few men tried to contact me through it and then assumed I was "difficult". I had no idea this was an option and I never checked my messages here, so I decided to change my preferences so that nobody can send me a PM. I believe that if you want to make sure the escort receives your message, you'd better send him an email or give him a call.

It's not wrong per se- just that it's not most escorts' primary means of contact and of the few that do post here- some of them may not really even be aware of it.

The bottom line is that there is nothing wrong with contacting a potential hire here. You just might get a more rapid response with a direct email. I have personally limited my personal responses to escorts on this site to something I want to say that I don't want out for general consumption. Whatever floats your boat!!!!!

We subsequently established a rapport by discussing certain predilections that we had in common... and in at least in one case it had nothing to do with what one would think would be the most obvious factor. Still, it must be remembered that in each case the escort made the first move and was expecting the courtesy of a response. Since many escorts don't monitor this site on a hourly or even a daily basis, such communications initiated by a poster can go unnoticed for days or even longer. I checked it out and an easy thing you can do in case you don't want to miss any private messages or you'd like to receive PMs on the fly via mobile (as in Xander's case) you can change your profile settings.

 

To receive email notifications of private messages:

Go to 'settings', then 'my settings' in the left hand column, under 'my account' go to 'general settings', check off your mail and messaging preferences including 'Receive email notification of new private messages'.

I agree with you, and I also prefer to talk on the phone to confirm everything.

But don't you think that a contact with someone here would help alleviate that issue? For example, if you "know" someone from here because you've been talking to them for awhile, doesn't that decrease the chance of them blowing you off?

I think all clients are welcomed, at least the escorts I know here in Virginia think that way. In Richmond guys prefer to know an escort or a client is for real, but who would make a living working there. Now answering your question I understand that some guys who write reviews might be better treated than others who don't but in the world of escorting "regulars" are the ones who helped an escort make a living. "Blowing off" guys from here or from wherever they come from wouldn't work for an escort.
