Yes, it does sound like a fantasy but I know a well-reviewed escort here in DC and he gets BB requests every month, he says no, he lives a healthy lifestyle. Fantasy perhaps - who knows. I do think the timeline does reek of fantasy writing. People on this board taught me (by reading their comments) that one should always assume the other guy is positive, play safe and get tested regularly. I agree this was a troubling review. But going through the escorts today, I was also troubled by one of Tyson's reviews. Not the one listed today but Review # 2 by Thumper. I guess it was just a 'cognitive dissonance thing'. Thumper describes himself as an 'affectionate' top- but what he described- sounded awfully rough to me.

There are layers upon layers of questionable judgment. I try not to hold too strong an opinion. There are many who would shake heads and sigh about this whole site and those of us who hire escorts. I don't claim to understand guys who embrace this unsafe lifestyle, just as I don't understand top guys who hire smooth blond twinks. I've met my share of guys who have little concern for the consequences of their actions from a financial, career, or health perspective.

 

The reviewer does seem to be playing out a fantasy with his review. I'm always suspicious of reviewers that overstate the escort's dick size. Joe advertises 9x6" and the reviewer says it's over 10". The synopsis is full of extremes that are probably self-serving. What an awesome guy the reviewer must be to have had such a excessively wild time.

 

One possibility that came to mind was that maybe this review was deliberately designed to draw attention to Joe a barebacker. I wonder what the percentage of escorts on Rentboy or Rentmen who either put 'Sometimes Safe' or leave that box totally unmarked vs those who say Always Safe.

 

And for those who say 'Always Safe' we probably have to make allowance that the majority of them will give head without a condom. I hadn't read that review until you brought it up. Yikes ! I'm with you on this. I have a different view than the client about what "affectionate"means. Potentially bruised and walking "too" abnormally afterwards is more than likely not a good thing. I may be too "square" as there were only the two consenting adults in the room. Hmmm...aren't the reviews sent to the escort before publishing so they have the opportunity to weigh in before publishing? So, in this case Joe would have been able to disagree with all or some of the review?

To my knowledge only negative reviews are sent the escort before being published.

 

Unsafe sex used to be considered a bad thing to do but things have changed, guys under 55 and twinks don't seem to care about "taking a few pills more per day" specially if the Federal Govt. pays for them.

I think that's an excellent hypothesis. Because I'm not quite sure of the physical possibility of all that happening as described in the review.
