Any recommendations in Kansas City or Omaha or even Des Moines?

I have to take a swing through these 3 cities, on business, in the next couple months. I don't see much online. Anyone have any recommendations? I'll have lots of downtime on these trips.

If you love opera, try the Lyric opera in KC. The Flying Dutchman is March 2,6,8 and 10th. In April, The Mikado is April 20,24,26 and 28th. They do a good job with wonderful performances. The Kauffman Center has great sound.
