While this is a fascinating play, the main reason to see it is for the tour de force acting of it's star Laurie Metcalf. She has worked with every major playwright according to her bio. No surprise she received 3 Emmy Awards when she was on "Roseanne". While there are 3 other performers in the show, including her daughter Zoe Perry, it's almost a one woman show. Only 70 minutes long it's an intense experience I highly recommend.

Thanks foxy for your take on this play... I also saw it and would agree that Laurie Metcalf gives a stellar performance, one worthy of a Tony nomination, however, the other actors give a rather mediocre/forgettable performance. Some cast members play more than one role... Not everyone is going to enjoy this play. It's a very serious story about the effects of dementia and the impact it has on the care-givers. There's a lot of arguing, shouting, and bizarre behavior. A lot of action goes down in those 70 minutes.
