Odd that the reviewer only awarded young Randell a "Satisfactory" rating when he obviously had a fabulous time. Must be a tough reviewer!

I'm not too tough, although I can be a tad ornery at times. The rating scale is mighty subjective. My personal opinion is that too many "recommended"s are submitted on the reviews. About 3 or 4 years ago, I re-calibrated my ratings. If the experience with a provider met all upfront expectations, his appearance matched his advertising, his performance matched his promises, a good time was had, and the fee was appropriate for the appointment and service, then I submit a "satisfactory" rating. Nothing wrong is indicated on my part because I choose that option. I have given this rating numerous times in recent years.

I reserve "recommended" for providers that I consider escort-of-the-year quality. These guys far exceed expectations, and demonstrate the capability to entertain the widest range of client wants and needs. They are available, accommodating, flexible and versatile, damn sexy, and fun in every public or private setting. Schedule them for an hour or a week, and they will make very happy that you booked them. Again, in my opinion, this describes a relatively small subset of all escort providers.

Would anyone else care to share the factors that distinguish their escort ratings?

I didn't even notice that the rating was 'only' satisfactory. I thought it was a good example of a very useful review - enough detail to give me some idea of whether I would likely have a good time with the escort.

I tend to think of 'satisfactory' as a grade of C - nothing to complain about but I'd like something better. (Which might actually man i wasn't totally satisfied, I suppose).

I'd prefer a 5-point rating scale, to allow something between 'he was just okay' and 'he blew my socks (or briefs) off!'.

I just submitted a review which hasn't been published yet, and I think because it was my first time I didn't really consider the difference between satisfactory and recommended, although having read this thread I would if I review again. I agree, satisfactory would be if the escort ticked all the boxes he agreed to in the initial conversation, but recommend would be if they went beyond that and made me feel really special, or at least gave the impression that they also enjoyed the session and wanted to repeat. But again, i would stress that each hire is very special and depends so much on chemistry and energy. One escort who is praised to the hilt here and obviously adored by many did nothing for me at all, and I am sure it wasn't his fault, I just didn't feel any connection/spark, although he did his best. Likewise I had a fabulous time on two occasions with Chris Rockway, but then read that a few others didn't-so you can never really tell. generally speaking it is like thetre reviews, if theres a ton of bad ones I tend to stay away-otherwise it can be the luck of the draw!

To choose between "recommend" and "satisfactory" is awkward at best. Recommend is a verb and satisfactiory is an adjective. Just my opinion, but I would like to have a rating of something along the lines of, outstanding (or excellent), very good, satisfactory etc. At the end of the day your either recommend or don't recommend.

I too find it a hard and somewhat odd choice to have to make. "Satisfactory" has come to have the connotation (at least to some) that it barely lives up to the standards set out. "Recommend" (for me at least) does not necessarily mean it was one of the best I every had. It just means that I would recommend him to have a good time with. I agree with a system more along the lines that sf westcoaster suggests.

This is my take on the term 'satisfactory' as well - for some, it's 'damning with faint praise'.
