As any who has spent some time here at the forum in the last few years, the Noah Driver saga has been frequently discussed. Although I have never met, nor likely will, meet Noah, I did want to congratulate him on apparently starting to make restitution to those he took money from. Fosterchow - I'm glad to see that he has made things right with you and I really appreciate the review which lets everyone know about the progress that Noah has made in making things right. I don't know if he has made it right with everyone yet, but it appears he is at least on the way to redeeming himself with people who are interested him.

We are a forgiving society when someone admits errors and makes amends. Hopefully this means Noah is/has set things right with everyone. And can become again a respected member of the escort community.

Well done Noah. Glad to see it.

I very much doubt that ND "can become again a respected member of the escort community" but like you, I'm glad that he has made restitution to Fosterchow. It may seem unusual to repay partly in money and partly in BDSM activities, but ND does seem to have left Fosterchow feeling fully satisfied.

Why? The money was originally advanced for services to be rendered. So given that ND seems to have regained fosterchow's trust by the partial cash repaymnet, the fact the remainder was repaid with services doesn't strike me as unusual. BDSM activities may not be my cup of tea; but seems to be what fosterchow wanted.

I give a shout out to fosterchow. He wrote an honest review long ago about a bad experience, and now writes a review indicating his satisfaction with the restitution that has been made. He is a satisfied client who refused to allow the past from keeping him from what he wanted. Well done!

yes, seems a good deal to me to pay back by not charging for services that foster chow obviously enjoys. I have occasionally had a good deal with a couple of escorts I know and trust by giving them my apt here in NYC when I was out of town in exchange for a session or two and it worked brilliantly for me, I was happy!

This pretty much captures the way I feel about it as well. It's good he is putting things right in some cases. However, it's unlikely he'll enjoy the trust of some people ever again. Everyone will need to make their own individual decision on him. Assuming he makes good with everyone, I wish him well.

I thought that was an extraordinary review. I recently had a reverse experience. I reviewed someone very highly and then on our third encounter it went completely south. In a really bad way. I figured I had already written a very positive review, what could I do now? So I did nothing. Not sure it was the right decision.

Can't imagine why you wouldn't write a review of the bad experience as well. Can you elaborate?

I thought that it was an amazing review. All parties involved seemed satisfied, as in my view Fosterchow never held the same resentment and displeasure with ND as did the rest of the escort community. He did not appear to be nearly as vocal, but it is not for me to decide whether or not others accept him. I think EZE is correct here, there will be those who will never forget or forgive, yet others will no doubt take a chance on him.

Personally I have been down a few dark roads in my life, and had all friends and family thrown me out with the bath water, I dare say that I would not be here today to enjoy the balance of my life surrounded by incredible friends and family. I believe in second chances, and third and fourth if need be. So Kudos to Fosterchow for allowing ND to work off the the balance of a debt owed, and most importantly for writing the reveiw and openly and honestly expressing his thoughts and feelings on this matter.

I don't know about ND becoming a respected member of the 'community' but I've moved him from the NEVER column to the MAYBE column. As an old friend once told me, "Better the bastard you know than the bastard you don't." With Noah Driver, there ain't that much unaired dirty laundry left. Now Fosterchow reports 'dat boy cleans up good'. That's good to hear.

It's highly unlikely he ever enjoyed the universal trust of the whole 'community' before, but that was never necessary for him to engage in a lucrative business. Nor was it necessary for his clients to engage him.

I think it's important for you to report the facts, especially if they've changed. Maybe the escort felt the same way and would respond to a less than stellar review with an offer to make amends. Either way, don't you think it's necessary to set the record straight by taking some of the glow off a glowing review? I mean, Geez, if he has the operalover21 seal of approval, why not hire the guy? Oh wait, operalover21 says the third time is NOT a charm, so I'll be aware. It's still my hiring decision but in the absence of your second review, there's nothing of which to be aware.

BVB, I think you've have hit the proverbial nail on the head sinking it completely into the wood with one blow - an Amazing Review. Not one of us is perfect (shhhh!) though some who post here might choke upon attempting to say it.

As I've watched the episodic rise, fall, disgrace and repeated attempts to rise up of Noah Driver, I've felt more sympathy than anger. This guy found a lucrative income, got trapped in a lifestyle and crashed. Finding himself at the bottom, how was he set up to repay thousands of dollars to his clients? A $9/hour job at McDonalds won't pay the rent much less allow someone to repay those advances. What other gig would put a 20-something ND into the GREEN as fast as he got into the RED? Remember, Get Rich Quick Schemes don't work.

ND's attempt at even partial reimbursement to Fosterchow is an indicator that ND is beginning to think correctly about his issues. That's good to see and something we can all celebrate. Maybe I'll hire him. But I will not break the rules of the M-F and advance thousands of dollars to him, ever.

Now let's say something about Fosterchow. This is some guy. I'd like having him as a personal friend. He's a STUD. It seems as if he was READY to to forgive Noah at the first sign of repentance. Not only did he but rewardingly so setting up ND with a lucrative deal to settle all accounts. He wasn't mean and demanding, he was loving and forgiving. Yep, we all need a Fosterchow in our lives.

The villain in the story may have been ND, but the real hero is Fosterchow who was quick to forgive and restore Noah. It is an amazing review from an amazing member of the forum, Fosterchow.

Fyi

Actually, all this talk has made me think that this guy sounds interesting .. and I will be heading to San Antonio in a few months.

Does anyone know how to get pictures of him? I can't seem to find any.

PM me if necessary or useful

Thanks!

I don't think he is in San Antonio anymore--but I could be wrong. I thought during one of his previous comebacks, he mentioned that he had moved to Florida.

He's not in San Antonio. He is now in Florida and had an ad on Rentboy for Tampa until a few days ago. The ad isn't currently there but I don't know if that means he retired again or what. I think your best bet would be to use the contact information in the review

I probably overthought it. Thinking that if I wrote such a glowing review who would believe the bad review? Or something along those lines. Not sure. As I said, I think I overthought it.
Funny, a possible reason for not writing such a review just came up in a post of ErieBear's:

One thing that I've noticed is that even with a very popular escort, you may not have a great time. In fact, it may go disastrously bad.

Do you feel pressure NOT to do a review? I was speaking to someone privately about a very, very popular escort and he told me, "It was just plain awful. The escort was late, rude and then..." and he told me about a very, very serious incident that occurred.

I asked him why he didn't write a review up and talk about it and his response was, "I didn't want [escort's name] fan club to gang up on me."...

Back when I was new at this, I had just such a disastrous experience with an escort who had only excellent -- indeed, fawning -- reviews here, and quite a few of them. I was sure it must have been my fault and didn't submit a review. Later, a more experienced me made some mildly negative comments about this escort in some thread or other. I immediately received several private messages from others who had had unsatisfactory encounters with him but had likewise been scared to submit a negative review. The more experienced me would no longer hesitate, knowing that my comments might save someone from making a bad mistake.
