They're making something of seeing a man shirtless in the new production of Picnic. But I guess that's what the play is about.

Hey, if you search for images of the actor shirtless, you get great pics of him getting all kissy with a guy!

Yes, Ben Brantley was really over the top and embarrassing in his obsession with Sebastian Stan's physique. Hilton Als, in the New Yorker, hardly mentioned Mr. Stan at all, and used the word "shirtless" once, and in passing. We know that Brantley is gay, and so what? Who cares? What is he trying to prove, and to whom? A ridiculous review.

It's nice to see Stan looking so good. I've had a bit of a crush on him ever since that movie filled with yummy studs THE COVENANT about 6 or 7 years ago. I also thought he was good as the gay son on POLITICAL ANIMALS last summer. He'd been looking too thin lately so it's nice to see him all ripped up for Broadway.

They're all taking it off on Broadway this season. LOL

The latest bathtub nude scene occurs between Nathan Lane (thankfully clothed) and his co-star Johnny Orsini, fully naked onstage.

Also in the I am naked this season club is Cory michael smith in Breakfast At Tiffany's and while not nude but down to his tight boxer briefs, and looking really good is Billy Magnussen from Sonia and vanya Masha and Spike.

Off-Broadway Hall of Fame goes to Maxwell Caulfield, especially in "Salonica," at the Public Theater several decades ago. Max was naked (getting the sun on his back and later turning over) on the beach throughout most of the play, which also starred Jessica Tandy.

I always loved him. Lucky Juliet Mills!

I have so many naked guy memories on Broadway!

My favorite is Daniel Sunjata in Take Me Out. Fully naked and there for all the world to see in his locker room shower scene. Delicious!

So many actors have appeared full frontal on stage, recently we've seen Zachary Quinto, Jonathan Groff, and many others.

Missed Quito, but saw the others you mentioned. Maxwell Caulfield's reputation for "Salonica" tends to obscure off-Broadway plays that required him to act (which he did very well), especially "Entertaining Mr. Sloane" (1981) and "Class Enemy" (1979).

After seeing Caulfield as the handsome grifter in Sloane, I remember thinking Maxwell was born to play that role (there was some partial nudity in Sloane, none in Class Enemy).
