Sometimes I do get a gay vibe from him. But poor guy-can you imagine the baggage he has to get through before ever acknowledging he was gay?

I would suggest many posters here would be upset to have the same attributes employed regarding themselves as justification of their classification as same-sex attracted. Seems like a double standard? (Merely observing, not arguing.)

This is 2013 and the USA, not Saudi. What is so offensive about someone wondering if you are gay or straight. Being gay is not considered horrifying or a pejorative anymore -well except for the extreme right wing fundies.

Actually, his life might be a lot easier if he is gay and came out. I actually feel sorry for him, given all he has and is going through. He doesn't get any slack from anyone these days. I don't think he is the greatest football player, but I don't think I would be able to handle all the flack he has gotten over the past several years. Maybe some of it is his own doing, but much of it is not, IMHO.

I think it's mostly his own doing. If he wants to be a religious proselytizer, which he is, he should be prepared to handle comments and criticism.
