Do escorts prefer a return email or not to an inquiry that will not result in a hire?

So a potential client contacts you by email and requests information. You reply. For whatever reason the clinet decides to pass on meeting.

Would you prefer the client respond to you that he will not be pursuing it anymore with reason, respond without reason, or simply not respond to your email at all.

Example:

Escort X, I saw your ad on a crappy website Men4rentnow that will not allow you to post your sexual interests or rates. Would you please send me your rates and preferences.

Escort X replies: Client X, my rates are $200 for 1 hour, $100 for each additional hour, or overnight for $800. I am a total top.

Client X should:

1) email : Escort X, thanks for your response, I have decided to go in another direction.

2) email : Escort X, unfortunately I don't think we would be a good match because I am also a total top (or whatever the reason is). Thank you for answering my questions.

3) NO email

Oh, I think it's always nice to say "thanks for the info."

It is but if they don't reply it never crosses my mind that they didn't say thanks. Sometimes I have thought "Oh he didn't ever get back to me about that enquiry" but then never gave it a second thought again

I believe a simple reply stating there is no further interest is best. Especially when the escort is asked to send nudes, as that escort(especially if they don't usually send them) is waiting on that clients response. I do not quite personally understand the double standard. As escorts we are expected to respond to emails/phone calls in a timely manner however for us to ask a client to let us know wether or not they are truly interested is almost a little unprofessional. Could someone out there let me know why this is.

Most clients don't reply if they're no longer interested and to be honest it doesn't bother me if they reply or not

Just "thank you for your response"

From a sales perspective, these responses sound rather weak. And just like a sales job, the client would move on to the competitor. What ever happened to keeping the customer?

First off, I'd try to find out why the client decided to go another direction...which usually would be rates. Because if he took the time to contact me, assuming this is a real client with real money...then obviously the interest is there. I'm usually the type to ask how much they were considering. Sometimes it's something reasonable like $20-50 difference. Othertimes it's something lowball like $100...but, there are still ways around it. Does the client really need a full hour? Or is client going to cum in 5 minutes because although the escort is usually a top, he bottoms once in awhile especially if money is involved? Okay you can't meet me for $200, how something for a shorter time? An hour is just a baseline. I also like to ask what client's preferences are before stating rates...just to see where their head is. That way I don't give out too much information when they may not even be able to afford the service or want what I'm into. That's also for time-waster prevention as well.

I'm not implying anyone to hustle, or accept a rate lower than they desire but at the same time you're not just dishing the client off. The client already gave some valuable information by responding what he's looking for. If there's room to compromise, why not see if one can be made. If you're busy 10 clients a day, more power to you. But some of us...live in the gay-sex should be free society and like to make the most out of responses.

Now, when a client doesn't respond at all...that just tells me he wasn't that arsed to see me and is also not willing to compromise. In that case, I don't send out additional emails to get their attention. Of course this assumed he's checked his spam folder.

I'll try and explain it, if in return you send me some nudes. :)

Because it's a bunch of bullshit. When it comes to email, if someone is looking for something right away and is not interested in waiting a couple of hours for a response and they make other plans, it's my fault. Really? There was a faster way of contacting me available and I didn't even have YOUR number. Fortunently not everyone is this way but unfortunately since we're the service providers we are expected to suck it up.
