Where do you market yourself, and how? I have been trying a few different business practices one of which being sending out an update email with newer photos, updated rates, and how I am doing, also reminding of what it is I offer. I wonder what practices others are doing and how they are working for you. Hope to get some great responses.

Jimboivyo is correct. You should ask other successful escorts what their marketing plan is. But, speaking from a client's perspective, I would first move your ad to Rentboy. Men4rentnow is a crap sight. I found you really can't trust their ads to even be from active escorts. They don't show prices and don't allow you to fully market your services. You are selling sex. So most clients want to see the equipment. Perhaps come up with a few better photos and don't be shy. And it wouldn't hurt to ask a couple satisfied customers to post a review on this site. Good pictures, good publicity, satisfied customers and the right venue (either Rentboy or Rentmen) should do the trick. Good luck to you.

I also had a second thought. I see you are in Raleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill area of North Carolina. Great place, but maybe not for escorts. There are so many fine schools in that area, with thousands of horny students around your age. Why pay for it when you can get it for free? Perhaps if you are serious about escorting, you need to go someplace where there is less competition from those willing to give it away.

That is an incorrect generalization. I've made a significant amount of money escorting, solely from M4RN. I think Zach has a niche appeal, and would probably do better in a much larger city, unless he's open to changing up his look somewhat.

 

And as far as competing with those who are "giving it away," there are always going to be people who don't want to fool with sites like Manhunt or Adam4Adam or don't even know about them. There are businessmen who come into town and want a guaranteed good time with someone with a certain look or talent. There are closeted men who want to meet up with someone who has a reputation for providing a positive experience and who won't mouth off or look at them as a money pit.

This. Id bet the bulk of the money is made in the ability too do in calls. I don't offer outcall massage due to I can count on 1 hand the number of request for it in a year and it wasn't worth in investing in supply's to do outcalls.. Most like incalls they like the ability of just being able too walk away.

I agree. Married men obviously can't usually see someone at their place and many single men don't want a stranger in their home. Even if a person has roommates and doesn't want to change the living situation it would be wise to cut the roommate in for a little of the profits to leave the premises or remain as quiet as a mouse in their own bedroom.

Id be willing to guess the average clients married white males over the age of 45.. That tends to be the profile of my average client. I get some young guys last week a 22 year old but that's rare
