And it included the word "overnight"

 

I think that most clients and escorts would suggest that since "overnight" may mean different things to different people, that ask me is sensible. How long, when, where, what all should be negotiated and so the fee will naturally fall into the negotiations. It is my very generalized experience that US based escorts have a higher expectation of hours multiplied than European based excorts do. As some clients have suggested that they did not want to pay to sleep with someone, perhaps some escorts feel that they would love to be paid (even if is is less) to sleep.

I think that the better approach is to post links to prior threads that already cover the topic (sometimes ad nauseam), since starting the thread over again rehashes the same arguments. Just because someone is new to the forum doesn't mean that they don't know how to use the search feature—in fact, I'm surprised at some of the old threads from years past that get a new post on them because someone did a search.

 

So Max, do you prefer "ask me" or posted rates?

I am just curious and would like to hear from thoes in the business, the etiquette in asking a price of an escort who says "ask me" as his price. Is it impolite to negotiate or is that somewhat expected. When a provider mentions a specific rate I never negotiate as I feel that would be akin to asking a sales associate in Macy's to sell me a sweater for $25 less than the ticked price. Thanks for the feedback.

 

I have never hired an escort before who didn't list his price. That being said, I think that in general, if a price isn't listed, negotiation is expected. If the price were fixed (other than on that website-which-must-not-be-named), they would have posted it. As one guidebook once said "If you don't haggle, the vendor will be upset, because he will think he could have sold it for more."
