For the record, I don't make assumptions based on join dates - I know that there are men (& women) with join dates more recent than mine who hire more and are more prolific posters (BVB, for example, joined last year). And there are 'old timers' whose opinions I often disagree with.

I'm an equal opportunity offender.

I keep my mouth shut more often than you might think, but I will admit that when people start with the personal attacks on other posters and name-calling here, it gets my hackles up. :(

I was just indicating that newness to the forum is relative, since it was used as a reason to discredit the reviewer.

With this crowd? You're kidding of course. Not in a million years!!! And that is the last I have to say on the subject, end of discussion....unless of course you intend to subpoena me. ;) which of course I am prepared to deny under oath anything that I have stated as fact.

I'll send you a slice of my pizza. ;)

We mustn't forget, some men are not strong.

James indicates just about everything that could go wrong with his meeting with Marco did go wrong—yet he kept the guy there until the appointment was done. That just doesn't make any sense—nor is it believable.

It could be believable, if you could trust the username JamesNYC. Some guys are gluttons for punishment (why else would anyone hire Rossi in the last 5 years) and others have said on this board that they hate confrontation and are afraid when an escort-appt-goes-wrong and the threat of harm becomes real. So, some men pussy out and sit there and watch the clock while the dysfunction unfolds. Some men who hire are pathetic, and they'll do anything for attention and entertainment. Some men who sell sex are equally pathetic, and they'll act-out as long as they have a captive audience.

Sometimes what goes on in the world of escorting NEVER makes sense.

Would you care to give us some more details about your side of things, James?[/b]

Not really. Your analysis of my review is full of assumptions and doesn't take into account what really occured "between the lines" of the review, and everything I wrote can be corroborated by other reviews and threads on here and in the muscle forum.

Daddy will lead you to the truth. And, yes, I believe in Santa Claus.

For the record, I don't make assumptions based on join dates

For the record, a member's join date alone will not tell you much. But the join date combined with the writing says a lot.

This place is full of trolls and trolls with agendas. It's just the way it is.

There's very little around these parts one can truly trust. After all, we are on the internet and the subject is sex for money. But I do trust that Marco Rossi is a sad example of escorting-gone-wrong and Marc Dylan is a hot man (for now) and he knows how to express himself with the written word. This site is worth something.

Which does make it quite easy to create an appointment that never took place. All you need is an imagination and the ability to form a sentence. It's not like anyone can really prove otherwise. Does anyone think Marco Rossi would admit to meeting with anyone and/or treating them badly? There are plently of escorts who would tell this site's owner to go fuck himself when he called or emailed to verify a review.

The whole verification process is a joke if you ask me. But some men want to believe what they want to believe.

Not sure how they came up with the join dates as this site did not exist in 1970. Also, I've been around since Hooboy days in the late 90's, yet my join date shows as 2005? I'm usually fairly quiet, but I've got to wonder what polarizes us so quickly about a few escorts. While a lot of guys seem to have favorites, understandably so, a few escorts really have sparked controversy on these boards. Benjamin Nicholas seemed to be the lightening rod a few years back, and now Marc Dylan is in the hot seat. I must say that Marc has favorably impressed me with most of his responses and while I sort of regret that we won't be meeting up, I thinks its in everyones best interest that he proceeds with what works for him. After all a poor meeting does neither the client nor the escort any good. One of the best escorts I've ever met once told me that he was able to find something attractive about nearly everyone, and that he kept tuned in to that attractive quality during the meeting, while blocking out the .......... One last word, CHILL guys, not your cup of tea-don't hire him. You think he's the greatest-give him a call. Either way, the world will continue on.

Here's the thing: your review shouldn't have to be corroborated by other reviews—it should stand on its own. And as it is—your review makes you come across as a whiny idiot who got exactly what he paid for, which was some bed time with a stinky escort. There is no need to read between the lines. If you can't write a clear and concise recounting of what happened to you in your own words—then don't expect us to do it for you.

Not that it is my proudest moment, but back in 2009 I hired Marco Rossi through one of NYC's biggest "agencies". I ha heard ove the years of mixed (leaning towards negative) reviews of this guy, but when I saw him in the line-up of the agency, I thought, "Maybe he has improved," and since I had lusted for him in his early 90's porno career and then once saw him dancing at the Gaity (but was too shy to approach), I thought, "Here's my chance!"

Called the agency, asked a few questions and was "assured" it was him and he was a great choice.

He showed up more or less on time but smelling clothes stank with cigarette and beer, body was in terrible need of a good long shower, breath - whew)!

At first smitten that I had him in my room, I was then stunned at the "look" as I had booked him hours in advance and he showed up in this condition. I thought, "Maybe he's high on drugs?" and tried to get him to drink water and juice - and in my case he spent 30 minutes lounging in a hotel room chair, while I sat on the bed; finally after cleaning out my 2 mini-bottles of vodka - went to "piss" as he put it (and I thought, finally, he would clean up), came back, had used a bit of the available mouthwash I had in the bathroom, but down below had not washed or cleaned or even wiped...

It was horrible and since he was obviously strung out and acting weirdly, I went along and watched my clock so that at 50 minutes jumped up and said, "Gee thanks !" - handed him his money and pushed him gently out the door so he would not raise his voice or cause a scene. I did call the agency later to complain loudly and angriily for this setup, but they gently asked me NOT to review him, assuring me he would be removed from their roster.

Well it took them 2 weeks to remove him, but they finally did. This is only the 2nd time I referred to this horrible mess -- I almpost hoped the agency in question would have given me a repeat for free or at a much reduced rate with a more interacive (and clean) guy, but they did not. I did privately warn others to keep their distance.

And - for the record - this is only about Marco Rossi as I am another guy who has been around these parts since the days of Hooboy, and even though I try to be more worldy-wise, sometimes we make mistakes, and Marco was one of my BIGGEST mistakes.

So, your agenda was to hang out on this site for fourteen years, make over 3,000 posts, until the time was right for you to post about a suspiciously, improbable encounter with Marco Rossi? Nice touch that your supposed hire was through a big NYC agency (I’ll bet you’re going to say it was through Maximum Escorts, as if anyone would believe that!!!). Maxwellissmart is smart (is that redundant?). He’ll get to the “bottom” of this.

Why do you find it so hard to believe that posters here have allowed themselves to be taken advantage of? There are countless threads on escort/client abuse here, recounted with pages of "I know I'm a fool" followed by "at least you've learned, don't beat yourself up." I'm with Rockhard here; where have you been hiding?

I think Adriano comes across as quite credible.

If you look in Unicorn’s Thread : One of the most fake-looking reviews I've seen in a while

James NYC supports Unicorn in the heated exchange over whether Marc Dylan wrote his own review. On November 22 a review of Marc appears on Daddy’s Reviews written by James NYC.

We are asked to believe that, after James has questioned everything about Marc, James would then go to DC and hire him for $400 [expecting a magnificent experience?] and then write a negative review?? Hmmmmm?? So who wrote his own review now???

One of the most fake-looking reviews I've seen in a while

Marc Dylan's latest review really cuts the cake for me as a review that seems pretty much written by the escort...

Marc Dylan is exceptional in every way. His beautiful face and body are obvious to anybody who has seen him on the web. In person, he is even more attractive. In fact, he is adorable. I was quite anxious about meeting him given this, but as soon as I walked into his hotel room, he put me at ease and spoke to me as though he had known me for years. The physical contact was extraordinary and Marc instinctively knew what to do to guarantee that I had a great experience. Afterward he set up the shower for us; what a turn on to shower with this hunk! Marc lives in Mississippi and his minimally detectable southern accent adds to his charm. Although we had arranged for a one hour session, we ended up going well beyond that because of his engaging nature and true interest in people. His rates are below what he deserves! I left feeling that I had made a new friend and I think he felt the same way. I will certainly see him again. He is a wonderful human being and an amazingly sexy man.

This review is nothing short of a press release with literally NOTHING specific stated about the experience. I am not surprised given the pollyana/sunshine posts made on his behalf here recently.

You idiot, i would never write a review praising myself. Look at my second review its almost the exact same and written by someone who has 5+ reviews . The gentleman who wrote the review was a very sweet guy i met in DC and saw again in chicago. We had a great time and had some great conversation after, actually about an hour of conversation . I think perhaps that was more enjoyable and memorable for him than the playtime before. Boy your posts cut the cake for me as someone who is a true internet troll. Its one thing not to have anything nice to say about someone , but to start a assailing a nice review is pretty low. If you would like to know the details of the encounter is was an hr of massage and mutual oral. Jeeze, find something to make youself smile that doesnt involve being a jerk.

Reviews that appear to be fake have always been commented on here. That this one is about Marc D and coming on the heels of a long commentary about him puts more of a spotlight on it. At his current rates NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD SAY "His rates are below what he deserves". No one. Ever. And to ask this audience of distinguished and experienced clients to believe that is asking for trouble - which he is now getting. It is painfully obvious that this review is a result of the negative commentary in the previous thread about him and the knowledge that there are negative reviews on the way. At this point I hope Marc is handing out freebees to operalover21 for all this promotion and defense on his behalf, he certainly deserves it.

Sadly it has become apparent that certain persons here do not wish for others to voice opinions that they do not agree with. I have nothing against Marc Dylan as a person and this is not a vendetta. The review in question does look fake, the statement we've pointed out IS odd, and there are more than a couple of people who share these observations. The original poster didn't even participate in the previous thread about MD. What I find to be disconcerting AGAIN are the personal attacks and epithets being hurled in defense, as if the totally juevenile name calling will in some way alter the facts or change the perceptions of those who are commenting. There is nothing bitter, mean-spirited or aggressive in pointing out and commenting on a questionable review, and doing so does not constitute that the writer is an unhappy person living a sad life in his mother's basement (a comment that has been made several times in threads concerning Marc Dylan). As is often the case with weak intellects and personalities when an argument cannot be made intelligently they lash out in order to cover up what is lacking. And I would like to state that I am NOT refering to Marc himself whom I have found to be a nice person who contributes positively here - the one exception being his post begining "Boy, you are a sad excuse for a person" - but he deserves a pass because it must not be easy to have to deal with all of this when you're the person in question.

Blah, blah, blah, blah ... like an aging actor in summer stock you don't realize you long ago lost your audience. You say one thing but your words and actions say something else. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, it's obviously you. You have yet to provide one iota of back-up for all your accusations which have gone on for weeks now. You remain an "Apprentice" because you have contributed little to the many forums on this blog with the exception being your obvious hang-up about Marc Dylan.

Thank you for confirming the exact point I was trying to make. I couldn't have created your response any better had I written it myself!

What makes you a sad person in my eyes, is you just cant believe someone would have a great time and write the "gushing review" and feel they got a good deal at the rate they paid. Its ok not to have anything nice to say about someone, it can be a bit mean spirited to say negitive things about someone, but when you start assailing OTHER people's nice comments thats just plain sad.

To be clear Marc no one said they could not believe a client would have a great time with you and write a good review; we said THIS review seemed fake. There wasn't any comment made about you personally as an escort. And I agree that if someone were to assail a nice review that would be mean...if it were perceived as a truthful review. That is not the case here. We are not tearing you down saying you don't deserve nice reviews. We are saying we don't believe this review in it's entirety. There is a difference.

SO NOW WE WRITE THE REVIEW OF NOVEMBER 22

I think Adriano comes across as quite credible.

Every word of it rings true to me. Didn't think there was an "agenda" in a single word. The writing seemed heartfelt, honest, and contrite.

I have no idea what MiamiLooker's problem is with Adriano46's post. Obviously, where some see white, others see black. That's human nature, too. You see this in politics all the time. And some of those folk are insane.

When you are part of a NYC/L.A. circle of guys in show business who hire (like I am), you get to live vicarious experiences during the many cocktail hour conversations. Marco Rossi's reputation for being a complete psychological mess-with-stench has followed him for a very long time. Here's a fact: You can't possibly care about your health or care about the health of your customers if you stink to high heaven. A very clear sign of depression is letting your personal hygiene hit the trash can.

There are many guys who were infatuated with this guy from porn movies. He did nothing for me but I understood the hype. These guys were thrilled when Rossi entered escorting, and many were totally humiliated after their appointments. I don't know one guy who desired to go public with his experience. Humiliation, especially an expensive one, is not something most people are proud to share with others. Luckily, for a lot of people who do research, they found enough public reviews pretty much repeating the same sad scenario.

I appreciate Adriano46's post on Rossi. One NEVER forgets an experience like that.

Not that anyone is going to change his opinion but - Jame's alleged appointment was in October; the MD review attacked by Unicorn & James appeared Nov 5. Only Daddy (& James) know when James submitted his review (but if it was submitted after Nov 5 & appeared on Nov 22, the processing time for reviews is improving!)

I agree with seeker630, no one's going to change their mind.

But had some one done a little further research, then we see that JamesNYC states on Oct. 12 (prior to the Unicorn exchange) that he had already submitted his review of Marc:

Unfortunately much of this can not now, nor perhaps ever will be verified, however there is much more going on behind the scenes, that hopefully someday will come to light for everyone to see.

I really hope the truth does come to light - and for me, it's still all 'he said/he said'.

But as long as it all remains 'behind the scenes'.... well, that's pretty frustrating! Sort of 'If you knew what I know... - but I won't tell you!'

Exactly, which is why it is almost comical that the personal attacks have gone far beyond the original post. Members have been attacking each other here for the better part of 3-4 days. Not all of it is about Marc's review.

But as long as it all remains 'behind the scenes'.... well, that's pretty frustrating! Sort of 'If you knew what I know... - but I won't tell you!'

I understand that, but it is not that simple, because none of this is really about me, other than the fact that I hired Marc and had an absolutely delightful time, that is my only connection here. Just because I am aware of some things that are going on, does not make it my place to discuss that. I am here giving only my opinion on events, as I see them, and that opinion on those events is unlikely to change.

I am another one of those who really dislikes the "I know something that you don't know but I am not going to tell you" line. In general, when I hear somethng like that all I want to do is stay far away from anyone and everyone involved.

I also think that if anyone ever asks why don't you submit negative review(s), that this thread can serve as the poster child for that answer.

Lastly, I think I would simply avoid any escort that OprahLuver21 likes because that girl scares me-- like if I hired one of her escorts- she might be lurking outside in the parking lot or hiding behind some closet door in the room!
