Good to know. I am seeing him again soon. With some additional guests, of course.

And like Daddys sez.... write a review. If it was really remarkable, maybe even go crazy and write more than 3 sentences.... and if you are feeling really wild.... share some details... Thumper style.

That guy rocks it... and I hear he is hot, hot, hot.

Think I may have even tried to hire him once. Or twice????

Offer is still open... Justin Baylor?? That's one hot ass... but, more than enough for one.

Okie

You got lucky. I hired based solely on recommendations from this board and it was the absolute worst hire of my life!

LOL...I did that once d2b, and learned a hard lesson. I now do my own research and just go by what I have learned and know about hiring over the (ahem) many decades that I have been doing this....Sorry that happened to you.

Ive been with Justin about three times, and each time was pretty good. The last time I was with him, he did seem a bit more flaky than usual but still a decent time. He isnt as good as men like Andrew Justice or Robert Van Damme, and but hes decent enough for the price. What made your experience so awful?

I don't think it would be appropriate to go into that publically in this forum (although the original post is questionable to begin with). My only intention is to suggest all of you to do "due diligence" in hiring - not just because of a comment you read on the forum. In other words, don't make the same mistake I did. To be fair, there are posts by a few respected members of this board who have had a positive experience with him and I don't doubt that they did. I did not.

lots of great reviews and recommendations, but does he have any presence on the net? advertise, pics, etc?

No he does not advertise or have a presence on the net other than to mysteriously appear in threads on this forum from time to time when business gets slow. If I recall he will send out very old and faceless pictures upon request.

Justin has great reviews, but very very mixed messages here on the board. I did spent an hr with him and sorry to report I'm on the "con" side with Justin.

Maybe I am thinking of some other escort, but I thought I had seen an ad for Justin fairly recently on Rentboy. I'm not sure if he identified as Justin on the ad. I was thinking that maybe the ad had the same picture as the one on his reviews. But again maybe I'm wrong. There are two or three escorts who have been advertising for years that I frequently get mixed up. And Justin may be one of them.

And yet....

What is it about this place that only makes us only feel comfortable to come in here and post the semi bad stuff? Clearly, none of these "horrible" and "con" and "not great" experiences translated into actual reviews.. with details.

Obviously, quite guilty of this myself. Have never written an actual "BAD" review... but have written plenty in here about things gone awry. So, what stops us?

The fear of ruining their business? That they will be mad at us? That they won't like us anymore? Or... is it the retaliation? Be it by email or voicemail or text? Or the much more dreaded.... Escort Response... as in, he was but a reaction to you.... you were fat, you had bad breath, you weren't clean anywhere and especially, down there, you were old, you were not HWP..... and as per the rules of this game. He gets the last word.

Not quite a fair fight... with no way to hit back... except in here.

Maybe I just answered my own question.

Will let you know about Justin. Have met him before, you know. Quite liked him. And his very pretty, pretty ass.

We'll see how he plays with others.

Promise a review (Thumper style), either way.

Okie

I think it is all of the above, so yes you answered your own question. I liked your post, it is an interesting topic. What is true, is that there are a multitude of reasons why we as clients hold back. Retaliation, there is that, not only from digruntled escorts, but from their fans as well. I for one had to shut down my private messages to only contacts and moderators, removed my pic from my profile because of a nasty comment, and had my personal emails blocked....I even sought legal advice once on how to proceed with someone who threatened legal action against me...very sad.

At the end of the day, life goes on...for me the glass is always half full. We keep doing this I think, because more often than not, we have a smashing good time. The last few days I have received some delightful pm's from members that just made me laugh out loud, and I am heading to SF soon to see someone new. So there isn't a chance in Hell that anything that has happened in the past could even begin to deter me from any of this.

Like us, JB is complicated

Here are my two cents. I toss them into this thread because I am exactly in the middle of the range of experiences with Justin Baylor.

On two separate trips to LA, about five and three years ago (respectively), I entertained Mr. Baylor in my hotel room, West Hollywood, near where he lives. I wrote a review of the first encounter (but do not believe it was ever published), which honestly reported that I found Justin Baylor to be very handsome and buff, and a great deal of fun. In particular, I found him to be a great french kisser.

In the second encounter, we started out kissing, and after a few minutes, he pulled away and told me, "I hope you don't expect to do this for much of the session; we may have a problem." I was surprised but continued with the two-hour session, which ended 45 minutes early.

Like the rest of us, Justin Baylor is complicated. He is not the consummate professional that, say, Rod Hagen or Kristian Elix are (gorgeous guys who have recent pictures, are open about what they enjoy doing, and present a consistent experience for a wide range of clients). Apparently, he has a full-time job and does this only part-time, and one reason he does is is for his own enjoyment (he loves playing Jock Fucked by Coach, for example). But he is, in my opinion, a very goodlooking fellow with a great body and a fantasy that many of us can relate to.

Perhaps, that is what separates the men from the boys: who is "professional". The men who do escort full time as a career depend on us clients for their living and make sure we are having a great time because they want repeat business. Like any business, to be successful, it takes repeat business over time. These "professionals" arive on time, are clean (unless asked to be otherwise) and do their very best to make sure the client has a great experience. There is consistency in their performance. Their heads are "on straight" and there is no drama (at least detectable by the client).

Now there are some "part time" escorts who balance a real world job with being an escort. As a rule, I have found some great men who do this because they like the extra cash and enjoy the sex. "Greg" from Man to Man in California is one of these "part-timers". But there is often not as much "professionalism" because they are not as dependent on the income for a living; these men can be hit or miss. With the full time "professional", the session is all about the client; with the "part time" man, chemistry is more important as it is not just about the client but also the escort, this may be the Justin Baylor issue: if he is in to it, the session can be great and if he is not in to it, the session can be problematic with some great and some not.

Yes, great escorts can be "part time" but for consistency, I think it is the full time, professionals who really deliver hire after hire. The reviews tell the story as does the longivity in the field.

For full disclosure: on a California business trip, I did an overnight with Justin Baylor about 8 years ago and had a good time; I did not repeat as my dance card was full at the time. Being the slut that I am. I had developed great relationships with four other escorts and was seeing one each weekend in rotation and could not squeeze in another. If I had an opening, he could have been a regular as my time with him was good.

I think you're right about the difference between part-time and 'professional' escorts, generally speaking. I particularly like the observation about chemistry and how much the escort's needs/wants matter. I think the best escorts derive satisfaction from the satisfaction of their clients.

What you say might be true, however I will add that the two best escorts I have ever been with, both did escorting part time. I do find full time escorts to be a bit jaded sometimes. That is strictly a personal observation, and as whole, may or may not be particularly true.

Good case in point.....

I am new to this, so maybe im just inexperienced. But Justin was great. He topped, he bottomed, he got rock hard. He has a very handsome face, and a deep masculine voice. His body is smooth and muscular. He french kisses with his tongue. and Justin's price is cheap. I paid 300 for a guy on Rentboy and he couldnt get hard. So Justin was fine for me.

all these hot cold statements about baylor and not much review documented to back up. not saying it didn't happen, but its suspicious to me. folks round these parts like to dog pile when they get bored or can't easily be identified
