appointment requires an hours' drive on my part to a high end resort. client has checked in and has the room but insists I drive to the property and then call/text him for the room info. Property also has a security gate requiring the guests info. All I asked for was the room number and not the last name which will ultimately be required to gain entry. Some of these florida resorts are more secure now than ft. Knox. I have worked there many times. I turned the client down politely and nicely. Question is why the reluctance? I am a well reviewed guy with a perfect and flawless reputation for professionalism and customer service. http://www.rentmen.com/mikeyusatop or http://www.rentboy.com/mikey9nola1

We all know of your reputation Mikey, but the client may not, even if he has seen the your reviews. He could just be operating on the side of caution. Some people are just overly cautious. Thinking about it, I realized that on almost every single occasion that I can remember, where I have met an escort or masseur at an hotel, in the email communication before hand, I never ask upfront their room number. I always say that, when I arrive I will text you from the lobby and can tell me what room you are in. For me at least, I realize that they do not know me, and I think it respects their privacy a little more. Now sometimes they will email right back and give me the room number anyway, but I make their choice.

I had the same thought about the reviews, but I don't see any reason not to give out the room number a few hours before the appointment, unless you intend to meet them in the lobby (or at the gate, in this case).

I prefer outcalls and have always given my room number on the day of the appointment. When I've met traveling escorts for incalls, they've always met me in the lobby.

The only advantage I see in withholding the room number is that it allows for a last-minute cancellation, if one party gets cold feet or if the escort doesn't match his description.

If an escort won't share their real name with me, I won't share my real name with them. If an escort won't share their phone number with me, I won't give them mine. If an escort insists that I can not call from a blocked number, I won't accept blocked calls from them. Maybe this client felt he was the only one having to disclose personal information and it made him uncomfortable.

That being said, I fully respect your reluctance to make a 1 hour trip without information that you feel you need. Perhpas you could arrange to meet at a public place half way. If you can't work it out, you did the right thing in refusing the appointment and you both should simply move on.

As BigValBoy mentioned above some people are just overly cautious. Although I never ask for a last name, sometimes new clients would volunteer such information for reasons you cited (gain entry to a resort/hotel) while others would be more reluctant. Often I would pay attention to other signs and ask a couple of questions to make sure the person calling has good intentions and he's indeed at the given property. In that case I'd text or call when I'm approaching the hotel/pulling over and would get the room number at that time. But then again: pay attention to other signs before making the trip.

I drove 2 hours to see an extremely well reviewed escort and he wouldn't give me his room number until I was standing in the hotel lobby. Unfortunately, when I got there, he wouldn't answer his phone and I ended up turning around and driving back home. Won't happen again. It does go both ways.

Unless he was meeting you at the entrance, I would be hesitant. I always require room # before I leave unless there is a good reason for me to be met in the lobby (executive floor, Ritz Carlton hotel, increased security due to high profile hotel guests etc.)

Neither do I. Most don't use their real first name and on Incall I sometimes haven't got a clue what their name is either and quite honestly I don't care what their name is, only that they're pleasant and respectful

That's dreadful

It was annoying to be sure. The escort did apologize later.

I remember when that happened to you. I am glad that the escort reconnected with you and, hopefully, made some amends. And to Mikey, I have traveled two hours numerous times to meet an escort in a hotel, and I usually don't get his room # until I arrive at the hotel. Luckily for me, I've never had EB's experience. It's always worked out just fine.

The thing is, there's this trust element to everything, clients get let down by escorts but it's more usual for an escort to be let down by a client. Petrol is £6.03 a gallon in the UK which is $9.64 a gallon at todays converted rate. Almost three times the cost of the States. No one unless they're happy to waste lots of unnecessary petrol money is going to travel for an hour at the prices we have to pay to get to the hotel and find he's a hoax.

It's rare I have travelled and been let down but it's happens and it's happened twice this year, both times being over 20 miles away. It then puts you off travelling when the client is being so evasive about his hotel details.

I may not give out my address to new clients until they're at the designated point that I request they call me from but I live on a nice housing development and I don't give out my address to all and sundry in the hope they might turn up. Regular clients know where I live and arrive on time by prior appointment. 1 in every 10 new clients no show me, either its too close to home when they find out where I am, they know people who live near me or they're just wasting my time. 1 in every 50-60 outcalls is a hoax so it's less prevalent. I probably do about 60 outcalls a year so it's not often I am caught out, however after all these years I still have a no show almost every week or so.

I have had guys ring me who sound off their nut and I think, he's not going to show but he does and ends up being lovely and I get lovely ones, well spoken, good middle english accent who no show and turn off their phones.

On the odd occasion I have done a tour, I have worked from hotels with 120 + rooms and I have no problem telling clients which hotel it is. I could be any of 200 guests. The hotel is hardly going to work it out in the few days I am there. I don't give out the room number until they are there, which we complain about the other way around but any vindictive person (and there are a few about) could ring reception and tell them what I am doing. Hotels won't do that the other way around in the UK because hotel guests are allowed visitors. It's not the dark ages but they don't take kindly to escorts plying trade in their building.

Hey guys and thanks for the answers. I always give out my room number upon booking when I am touring and in a hotel. It puts the client at ease. I have nothing to hide and do not think giving out my room number endangers me at all. This client of mine was just overly cautious and admitted it. By the time he finally gave it to me I had already booked the time with a very nice man who was very eager to see me and willing to give his room number without even being asked. The client who would not give out his room number finally admitted to me that he thought I was an undercover cop!!! Now that is crazy! My , "Night stick," haS SURE GOTTEN ALOT OF WORK OVER THE YEARS! LOL! http://www.rentboy.com/mikey9nola1 ps...in case anyone is wondering: COPS DONT SHOW THEIR DICK IN AN AD AND COPS DONT HAVE DOZENS OF POSITIVE REVIEWS!!! that is why daddys reviews exist

He probably double-booked. Its what airlines do as they know some passengers are going to miss their flight. On the last flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Denver, every seat was filled, but when I was looking at seating arrangements earlier that day...it showed several empty seats.

I've never heard of male escorts double booking, I know a few female escorts who do this though. If a client rings early in the day for an appointment say 2pm or 3pm and I think he might not show, for whatever reason, I usually say "Give me a call just as you're setting off so I have an idea of what time you will arrive". Most timewasters don't bother ringing back. Then if someone else rings and asks for 3pm, I will say, yes that should be ok but give me a ring at 2.15pm and I can let you know for sure. If the other guy isn't forthcoming I can usually resort to Plan B
