That kind of thing happens more often than you might think.

 

I once stayed at a hotel in Denver that had two towers, each having its own elevator bank. An escort I'd hired, in spite of being told to use the elevators next to the bar, ended up wandering the halls in the wrong tower looking for my room number. (They used different numbering schemes in the two towers.) Once we got it sorted he sheepishly admitted I was right to want to meet him in the lobby even though he'd previously been certain that wasn't necessary.

 

It's always good to keep Mr. Murphy's Law in mind: whatever can go wrong will.
