No word on how it competes with Ambien, but there are now 120 discs of recorded Proust that you can listen to as often as the spirit moves you. When I say "recorded Proust" I don't mean his voice, just all seven volumes of Remembrance of Things Past. The discs take 153 hours to get through, perfect for those long flights around the world. The cost of the CD's is about $600.

I took me years to read the entire thing, so once is enough. Although it was of the greatest & most enjoyable reading experiences of my life, with arguably the most interesting gay character in literature, Baron de Charlus.
