Those Timewasters Again

Friday is never a fun day with my "Steve" phone, as I call it. It's usually a Friday when the stag trips arrive from all over the UK and Ireland and start ringing me at 4am thinking I am a female escort, because they're too drunk to read the advert in the local newspaper.

 

Today is starting off as no exception. I've already been screamed at down the phone by an Irish guy who is "on my way to the airport and thought I'd pop in for some fun". When I said "Yes and you said that on the 22nd of April and last October but never showed to either appointment", he screamed at me and asked if I had the right to store and keep his number. If you timewaste me then I have every right to keep what ever details you forwarded onto me to ensure you don't do it again.

 

Then I received a call on a blocked number. "But Steve, I've been before but I can't remember where you are so lets just book this in as I always turn up". He obviously felt the need to block his number this time. Very odd, so....... I've turned that one down. Then I get a text from someone who has seen my new pics on the website and wants to come and give me a good seeing to. I asked him to phone to get my address and organise a time. "See thing is Steve, I am quite unwell and unable to speak so we will have to do this by text". We won't you know.

 

So here's a few guidelines for the clients out there who may have been on the brunt of some of these things in the past when they were actually genuine enquiries.

 

1. If you email or text an escort and they ask you to call them, it doesn't mean "send me 8 more texts".
   
2. If you withhold your number, don't say you've been before because no escort in their right mind would give a client on a blocked number their home address unless they're completely stupid and don't value their safety. You may be safe and you may genuinely have concerns about forwarding your number but escorts also have concens over who they invite into their homes and who finds out where they live and work from
   
3. When you tell an escort you've seen their fabulous pics on their website, don't go asking stupid questions about stats and likes, when everything is on that website too, this is particulrly annoying on text messages. Any reputable escort will have all of these details on their online presence.
   
4. Don't ask for cock pics, face pics, ass pics by text. In the UK it's an offence to send sexual pictures to minors. How on earth can we tell what age you are by a text message and how do we know that you won't go forwarding these images on. In the UK most packages exclude picture messages and they're 35p a pop. I get about 30 requests a month for cock pics, usually from guys who send me theirs in advance. I'm sorry guys but I am not running up my phonebill to give you wank fodder at 11pm whilst the girlfriend is in bed.
   
5. If you make a firm arrangement and are told to ring when you arrive in the street for the door number please don't no show. We will keep your number and remind you about it the next time you call. You all get pissed about in your own professions and none of you like it when you're messed about at work so why do you do it to escorts, when it's their profession and who could have turned down genuine work because they're waiting for 45 minutes for you to turn up when you have no intentions.

Sorry this happened to you Steve...I don't know why, but I am always amazed how some clients are such inconsiderate "A" holes....I pride myself in respecting the life and times of an escort. I only canceled once in all the, well just say it has been in excess of 40 years. I was sick when I canceled, but promised to make it up to him, which I did. SO sorry Steve that you guys always have to deal with this. I think it comes down to a matter of respect toward other people. I guess it just goes with part of living in this world. There are millions of people out there, some are nice, and some....well....some are just "A" holes and always will be, and there really isn't much any of us can do about it. Well there are things we can do, but the ramifications are just not worth it.

 

BTW...the new pics are infinitely better than the old ones....love the graffiti.

They're not clients. Very few of these timewasters turn into genuine appointments. You can't be a client until you've been a client. I once had a real go at at guy on the phone and he said "well if this is how you speak to clients". I said "you're not a client".

Yes we get them on an almost daily basis. It's the worst part of the work. There are more timewasters around today than there ever was when I first started.

Sadly I have had numerous conversations with members here and personal friends who hire, and many really have the attitude that escorts are just a low life prostitute peddling there body's on some street corner. Now that might sound a bit harsh, but if you heard some of the things that I have heard, you would realize that many do actually feel that way...Treating escorts like that enrages me.

Good post. As a potential client, I feel that if you the escort after some comversation, is not really going to be into my scene, then I thank you for your time, and that's that. Move onto the next guy. I have never cancelled on an escort, and it's been many a year. On the flip side of the coin there is the escort who needs the appointment and consequently will agree to everything I want, only to get cold feet when it's time to perform.
