Great list. Thanks maxswell. I have just one question regarding things-to-always-do number 6, "Plan ahead—and don't wait until the last second to call... ".

 

How far ahead is too soon? I recently contacted an escort 3 weeks before I planned to arrive in his city and he responded that he could not talk to me until later. He didn't specify exactly what that meant, but I figured it was too soon to schedule. So I'll wait until a few days before I arrive and try again. Hopefully he won't already be booked for the times that I have free.

You know, what I really mean by that is "don't wait until the last second at 2am to call." I've gotten a lot of super-late calls and I've either already gone to bed, or made plans to be out for the evening. Give me a heads up of a couple of hours and I'll usually gladly adjust my schedule.

I had a guy text me today. he said hi how are you? I said fine but who is this? he says Rob. I'm thinking okay rob who? I tell him the name doesn't ring a bell. he tells me he got a massage from me 2 weeks ago. i asked him if he wanted too book another massage? he says yes in 2 weeks maybe? I said sounds good text or call me when you want too book? then he says i really loved the massage found you to be a neat person and was hoping we could be friends I'm thinking okay i need to nip this shit in the bud lol. I said oh that's kind of you and I do like having clients. but i also make a point to not be friends with them outside of my work environment just as my dentist and dr chooses not to with me. I like having a life outside of this business

I know some guys hang out with go to dinner with their clients and have a friendship. I just choose not too. I like to keep it strictly business. I work 7 days a week 10 to 10 everyday but sunday then 12:00 to 7 on sundays. I like those off hours to be away from anything involving massage including those clients..
