I may be wrong, but these guys with more alluring ads than the others may get a lot of inquiries and the escorts somehow need to budget their time and figure out which inquiries are legit.....are you writing in a friendly tone, introducing yourself, being discreet but thorough in describing your hoped-for plan, asking if he has questions, providing contact info, not associating $ with anything but time, etc??....this is all obvious, but just trying to figure this out.....thanks

Surferguy, not to offend, but looking through all of your past posts, it seems as though you have this problem a lot. As azdr0710 says, it might be your approach. If your tone in contacting is any similar to the posts I've read in here, I most likely wouldn't respond either or put you in the "maybe later" file if I had enough interest from legitimate clients. If that's not the case and you feel you are being respectful in your contacts, then you should just let it go and move on.

In addition to the comments made above, I do know some Escorts that unless they can somehow verify who you are (i.e. valid email that links to Facebook, MySpace, etc or a phone number that can easily be Googled), they won't see the client for fear of law enforcement or some random whacko. I used to have fears when I first started booking about using my personal info, but nowadays I could care less and I get responses to almost all of my inquiries.

Food for thought.

Another idea if you want have an escort take you seriously is to offer references. This more common amongst female escorts who require it. It couldn't hurt to say, my name is blah blah blah and I have seen (for example) David-SF and AJ Irons. Both know I'm a really great guy if you ask them.

Kevin, do you ever ask for references or has a client ever offered any? Not sure if this is common in the male escort world or not. I know I would if I was having a complete stranger at my home.

Actually, when guys do this it throws up a bit of a red flag for me. I get the sense that he's more into name dropping and dirty talking than actually meeting up; at least it seems to have played out that way a few times. But I agree wholeheartedly with your earlier post on this thread: if numerous escorts decline to get back to you, maybe there's something wrong with your approach.

Why not just attach a face pic as well?? And if you are good looking enough maybe they will take you seriously.. What a joke. Personally, I would love to see a copy of the email you sent. Minus all of your personal info of course. In my experience guys that provide just an e-mail address, are generally more difficult to connect with. Add to that the fact that physically he's probably one of if not the most attractive guys running and ad in that city, he's probably got more emails than he can handle. You can always try again, but at some point maybe you go to the next guy.

I'm always puzzled by the guys that run ads and never respond to inquiries. Is it a game, do they like the attention, ???? Here's the latest mystery guy in Seattle, Kyle:

RB Ad Rates haven't changed much. "Successful Working Guys" have Definite Regs that cover their Overhead mostly. No answer after a couple of Contacts Move On!

It depends on the city and the advertising tier......Other cities will be less.

Hmmmmm....sounds cheap enough. Perhaps I should hang out my shingle, and see if I get any interest. Never know when I might need a part-time gig on the side to make ends meet.

Wonder what overnight rate I should charge? :)

Lots and lots and lots of guys in atlanta but none of them buy higher than a basic page so the prices stay relatively low

Damn Good for the Consumer! NYC/LA are a Major Market... BUT with the "Right Guys Working It" a smaller Market is better Financially for a Client!

I'm sure the Quality of an Overniter is NOT dependent on the Cost! I've done OverNites with Traveler's who were HomeBased in the South and at $750 were Memorable..compared to a few NYC Guys who at 950-1000 I've forgotten!

The city that you're running the ad in makes a huge difference in the price. For example I'm running two ads, one in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn on Rentboy. The Manhattan ad costs 300 a month; while the Brooklyn one is 27.
