Damn!!!! The photographs of Josh Weston, early in his porn career, bring back many great, interesting, and even sad memories. He got his start in gay erotica stripping/dancing at the Nob Hill in San Francisco. I noticed his ad in rentboy just before his first Falcon film was released. I quickly made arrangements to fly to San Francisco and get together with him for dinner and a couple of hours of play time. We had dinner at a steak house in the Union Square area as I was staying at the Prescott Hotel. He was extremely modest and quite shy. He was very interested in art and during dinner we had a nice conversation about art history. Although extremely pale his body was cut to ribbons. I wrote an outstanding review and made numerous attempts to get together with him again but things never seemed to work out. For the next year or two his appearance remained little changed but slowly he began to develop the look of a serious steroid user. His vascularity increased grotesquely and he developed a steroid facial flush. He began to appear less and less in important porn roles and eventually ended up make bareback films with a minor studio in San Diego. It was not fun watching the clean cut almost all American kid I first met transform himself into the physical steroided mess he became. He seems to have dropped off the edge of the world but it is my sincerest hope that where ever he is he is happy and healthy
