No concept of pricing (if I HAD, I never would have waited tables), or how to be smart about setting up travel arrangements or recognizing bullshit clients who had no intention of setting anything up. I used to book weeks of time out for people who would say they "might be" coming to town, or would be coming my way six months from now. I actually saw some people for free because they came up with some excuse or another as well, and told me that they would "tell friends" about me in trade. Riiiiight.
