Are Escorts Understandably Obsessed with their own Youth & Body Image?

I suppose obsessed is the operative word in your inquiry. The actions taken as a result of one's "concern" about one's bodily image are paramount. Many, if not most, of us should have more interest in having a healthy body which does include exercise, etc. as well as proper nutrition but where does enough "interest" to do something leave off and obsession take over? Like a lot of "isms" I see little wrong with being a gym rat so long as it does not interfere with one's professional or social life. Sound familiar? That is also a current defintion of alcoholism and several other "disorders" that are rampant among mankind.

 

If one is engaged in an occupation that has as part and parcel one's appearance, then one should look after one's "investment" being mindful of excess. However, in my mind, being mentally apt is also part and parcel of being an escort (or indeed of being a human being) and therefore being rounded in one's approach to life has to be important.

 

As a pilot, I have to keep up with what is going on in the political sense, the aeronautical sense and in a business sense, to oversimplify. I admit to being "too" interested in things aeronautical when in a social scene but that is my career and a very important part of my life. However, I do not exclusively seek out those who are similarly inclined. Escorts and (other) gay men should strive to do the same or so it seems to me.

I dont think they are More so than the general public is now adays, however, their "looks" are what generally drives their business, so it is understandable if they ARE.

I'm basically getting paid to exercise, and the more I exercise—the more I'll likely be paid. I'm not obsessed with the youth part though. What I do focus on is that I have the ability to not only feel better, but also to feel better about myself through a little hard and consistent effort. If that's the payoff for exercising and eating right—who wouldn't take advantage of it?

I may be wrong but I don't think they are obsessed I just think it is part of the occupation that they need to maintain the eye appealing aspect of the business

One thing that irks me is the fact that other escorts do seem worried about aging. I'm happy to say that I always put my exact age in any ad that I have up...regardless of what the other guys are doing. I'm 31 years old and proud to be 31 years old. After all, I've waited 31 years to be this age! LOL And if an escort is going to lie about their age...then what else might they be fibbing about.

"Understandably Obsessed" assumes you're projecting the obsession and asking if it's understandable.

 

Most of the escorts I've known haven't been obsessed at all. The best ones are actually quite modest about their looks. Humble, even.

 

If your entire identity is wrapped up in the size of your dick or the shape of your tits then I suppose a little obsession will be on the table, but the healthy-minded have more going on than just physical looks.

From what I see and read, guys keep getting "played" by the same escorts over and over eventhough negative reviews have been posted about them. And why ? Because the escort is hot and sexy and the client is horny for him. Logic gets defeated by LUST!

I'm not sure about your comment that 'the current state of the business de-emphasizes looks'. I'd wager that looks is what gets the majority of escorts their first hire from a client. I do agree that looks alone likely will not gurantee repeat customers. No disrepect intended, but I doubt that the majority of clients are aware of this site, nor are the majority of escots reviewed here, so most clients hire based on an ad & their interaction with the escort, and are likely not aware of 'reputations'. (I would be happy to be proven wrong, tho.)

in regards to the concern over "looks" escorts are not the only ones who are hung up on the subject. clients are hung up on it also. "pics & stats" has got to be the #1 phrase i hear over and over.
