Why do many guys advertise massage service on adam4adam? it doesn't make sense...

I should say, this is not a go at guys who advertise massage on adam4adam. Again I am a firm believer that we all have the choice and preference to advertise what we want. What I don't understand is the people who come off looking for massage but generally don't JUST want massage.

But, I just find it strange that in certain cities you have all the guys advertising massage (generally White) and then maybe 1 or 2 escorts and they are almost always the Black thug types. It's almost the polar opposite of the regular escort sites that advertise mostly White escorts. Now, I'm not pulling a race card here...but I'm just trying to figure out why it is the way it is. It just seems odd. I mean, I'm not hating on anyone, but it's like these guys advertising as masseur to make themselves look a little better but in reality they are probably doing the same thing as escorts are doing. It's almost like saying, "I don't want to be seen as a filthy, low class adam4adam *****, so I'll just say masseur".

Recently I put up an escort ad on adam4adam in one of my travel cities, and quickly took it down. I got 3 calls in a matter of hours that were all dead wood. Previously putting my number up over the weekend, I received more unnecessary calls. Yet, I remembered in the past I've place it as masseur and the responses were far more serious.

In some areas, it's almost like you're being ridiculed for advertising as an escort on that site, but putting massage tends to garner more business. But I'm like, why disguise it as 'massage' when they are looking for more than that? Then it turns out to be even more work for less because you start with a massage, but then it turns into something more like sex. Is it that, if you advertise as a massage you can discriminate and only the clients one fancies, and then just call the sex 'consenting?'

So what's it all about? I know Joe in ATL is a massage guy who can probably give more input on the situation,

Actually Joey as a HUGH massage fan, I will often look for crossover ads. If I want an erotic massage, which more often than not that is the case, then it makes sense for me to see if the masseur will go further than just the erotic part should I decide that I want to go that route. If the masseur does erotic only, then I will expect a nice massage with a 'happy ending'

If I find for example that the masseur escorts on the side, then I will sometimes ask for additional services and pay the additional price...For me personally, I like having the options available to me, if I am really attracted to the masseur.

Sometimes also a masseur on say a site like M4M or Masseurfinders will not show a face pic, however when I cross check ads on escort sites, he will often have a face pic and I can get a better Idea of what he looks like.

well, I understand what you are saying, and that makes sense...

But I don't understand why in some cities, everyone hops on the "I'm a masseur" bandwagon. As if advertising on adam as an escort is a bad thing. Hell, I know of some markets where I can advertise as an escort even amongst a few masseurs, and get by just fine. But when you have a dozen guys posting only massage service people get used to getting a masseur to have sex for the cost of a massage perhaps? I know some of those guys really are masseurs (a client of mine actually advertises as a masseur on adam and a buddy of his).

And based on conversations with guys who have hired 'masseurs', they have been willing to do more. So why hire an escort when a masseur is willing to give a massage AND have sex? And based on the ridiculously cheap offers given out on adam4adam, I would find it hard to believe it isn't going on.

Let's just lay everything out on the table right now.

Since the "happy ending" phenomena seems to have come out of the closet, I think more people, str8 and gay look to encorporate THIS into their experience. It seems to me these its its more or less "expected" that something sexual will occur during a massage, unless of course its being performed at one of those ritzy, high class Spas. Nothing wrong with a bit of variety... Advertising on a site like A4A clearly gives ME the impresion the guy is willing to go "above and beyond" the usual therapeutic massage route. Afterall, A4A is THAT type of venue.

It's not just A4A escorts advertise on massage m4m and masseurfinder hiding behind the word massage. I've had clients tell me they went in for a massage and got absolutely nothing close to that. there's a couple of guys here in Atlanta charging 200.00 on m4rn but charging 120.00 on massagem4m and doing pretty much the same thing..

The guys that hire them all tell me the same thing as much as they liked the sex they wouldn't go back too them

A4A is primarily a hookup site, and although they do have a Massage link, I wouldnt think qualified, certified masseurs would be advertising There ?

there's a few certified guys on A4A I would never advertise on there. It makes no sense to me to advertise on a site where the majority of the members are there for hookups.

If I placed a ad on there I know exactly what would happen. emails saying. how about a free massage? I'm a hot 21 year old give me a free massage ill suck your dick. Do you ever trade? can i fuck you? will you fuck me?

So why wouldn't they go back to them and why are they charging less on massage m4m if they are basically doing sex?

Verbatim LOL.

I mean, don't get me wrong, adam4adam can be a decent sites in 'some places' and 'at times' but I don't understand why it's so hard for people to just mind their business and not be stupid about things. It's like all kinds of kooks on that site and rather than expel energy into all the other 50 million guys on there, they want to talk to the pro. It's like you place a phone number so you don't have to feel obligated to sit in front of the screen all day long, but all it does it make it even easier for the prats to get ahold of you. 3 bogus phone calls in 1 hour? That ad is FLYING down.
