If you contact an escort but don't know for sure that he got your message (i.e. text, email), how long do you wait before trying to call him. I texted someone today, debating whether to try and call him tomorrow or wait until Tuesday.

I'd say either wait until Tuesday to call. You never know if he has been on a trip, an overnight, multi-day gig, traveling, etc. He may not have the ability to respond within a reasonable amount of time or he may not have ever received it.

Personally, I say drop him an email or call & leave a voicemail if he does not answer.

Here's one thing all clients need to do—make sure your contact info is complete. I've had bad emails, incomplete phone numbers, transposed characters, voicemails from private numbers with a message that says: "call me!" or "hey, I'm back in town again, call me back!" and I have ZERO idea who they are.

 

Sometimes clients send me an email and then turn right around and call me too. I don't have any problem with that—in fact, it usually confirms with me that they're serious and are definitely interested in booking. If you want to get an escort's attention, do both. If he doesn't call you back within 12 hours, move on to the next one and wash, rinse, repeat until you get in touch with someone you'd like to see.

A full day and a different means of contact will not make you an annoying client at all. If you get no response to your second attempt, put him on the back burner and try elsewhere, perhaps giving this guy one more shot, say, a week later.

Try sending an e-mail message with details about you and what you are looking for (dates, expectations, etc.) and follow-up with a call a few hours later to confirm the escort received your e-mail message. Although I much prefer email, since I have a 'Blackberry' and I have always found texting on it (even the new one) a bit cumbersome, I have noticed a large percentage of ads where they will say, "text is the best way to reach me as I am not always near a computer." Now I do get emails on my phone, however when I text I am always respectful and the message is never abbreviated when contacting an escort for the first time. After we begin communicating, however then they do become brief. Google voice is AWESOME (and free). It counts down the number of characters, and will send to a phone number without you having to know the carrier domain BS, too. The only think you have to remember when sending or replying is not to hit <return>, because it will not send any further characters after that first line.

Is he dealing with family issues or the same type of personal struggles that we all face from time to time? Cell phone reception issues USA or Abroad? Time zone differences?

I know right?... You would think that in this day and age of technology that it would be faster easier better... It is in all kinds of ways. On the other hand, the expectation for instantaneous response rises when before it was a given that you might have to wait a week for a letter, a card, what have you...
